Suppose I wanted to know about diggs relating to the game Halo. I would search for the keyword 'Halo', copy the RSS feed URL of that search and add it to my RSS aggregator. That way whenever theres a new post containing 'Halo', I'm notified without having to check the main page constantly for every story posted.
Trust me, it's useful :P - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+014 in 6 mins
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0the "Digg:Now" is sorta subliminal
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0ya lol
- Sferrero, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Umm, how can you not see the point of this?
If you only like to read articles about "Rabid Crocodiles" then you could make your own personal RSS feed that will keep you on top of all the stories about Rabid Crocodiles.
I think its a great feature, nice work. - TravisL, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This is extremely useful... nice work kevin.
- allemannster, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0nifty Kevin. I like it
- TheNik, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I told everyone a new feature was coming. :D
- billflu, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Some one already posted this... jk
- syuusuke, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0sweet feature
- ricodued, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0bugmenot2, there's a benefit. For example, if I ever get around to building this app I've been thinking about, this will add one nice feature to the list :)
- BugMeNot2, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I don't really see the purpose of this... =(
- eyesx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0More Digg Tools
http://digg.com/technology/Complete_Digg_Tools_Collection - nitroskanker, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0When can we SORT the search results?
- kilgarenone, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0i just love this 'portal'
- cards, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This is an awesome feature already well-explained by ricodued and sferrero. Now I can easily find stories on topics I'm interested in that might not make it to the homepage. (I'm a digg bastard who really only browses the homepage and stories my friends have dugg.)
- boardo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0dupe
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0bad link

http://all%20returned%20... - MattZed, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0this will be cool, and useless. the best of both worlds!
- Zippo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0RSS and Rose for the win.
- eigh, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0apple and amd are still better than digg but not as good as google which is better than microsoft.
so is apple better than microsoft? - grady, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0The header result is too big for google/ig. I love the idea, but it doesn't fit in 3 columns.
- caldroun, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Please add a Date Dugg on my personal RSS feed, or a URL switch to show diggs from a certain day by date. That would be awesome!
- MattZed, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0useless = useful**
- LinuxPenquin, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Hey Kevin
When are we going to see a new episode of "The Broken"
Thanks - Devin, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0A theory long applied to MS Word can now be applied to Digg. Only 10% of the features are used by 90% of the users. So few people will use this. It's a novelty thing. I don't see the point of making Digg bloated with useless features like so many other websites. And no offence to anyone involved, especially Kevin whom I have great respect for. I'm just not sure I see the point of this.
- Rain-X, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0Come on this is OLD NEWS KEVIN!!! This was in TWIT just this WEEK.
- wastern, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0it must suck to have all your stalkers be greasy little nerds.
