This thought is generally followed by uncontrollable laughing at American global ignorance, which is then followed by a depressing feeling of injustice. (I.E. ROFL you stupid American bastard)
- Lorian, on 10/12/2007, -5/+18What's your point? We don't care
- jobeats, on 10/12/2007, -6/+17of course, Australians even have a Digg culture

- daRoach, on 10/12/2007, -2/+10Every time I think of Australia, I think of the Simpsons episode in Australia. I want to go there one day just to play knifey spooney.
- theone3, on 10/12/2007, -7/+14Because you know it's going to happen anyway, Aussie user rollcall goes here!
- philovivero, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Recently I noticed we have a nice spike in traffic at around 6pm-7pm. Too lazy to actually look at the weblogs to figure out where traffic was coming from, we pondered a bit where the traffic might be coming from. Looks a lot like Australia and New Zealand. So I guess we have a bit of a following in the Land Down Under and Aotearoa.
Thanks, guys. We loves ya! - theone3, on 10/12/2007, -5/+9There's no excuse for that kind of comment. We actually have an education system in Australia! ;)
- yukevster, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Eh? How can you tell how Australia is being 'prononuced'? It's a written comments forum dude.

:-) - HeliumHigh, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5Well, the more publicity Digg gets from the outside, the more mainstream it becomes as well. Good for Digg :)
- Trjn, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I'm somewhat surprised The Age took so long to do a story.
I guess they finally worked out what was occasionally chewing up their bandwidth. Wonder if the Herald Sun (the other Aussie paper I notice getting frequent links here) does one as well. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Not for long. Our beloved prime minister is turning our country into the next minor american state as fast as he possibly can!
- theone3, on 10/12/2007, -3/+5Perhaps you are ignorant of your own countrymen? ;)

- inactive, on 11/04/2008, -2/+3Why did this story manage to attract the stupidest comments on Digg?
I can't stand how American's pronounce Australia. "ORZZ-STRAYYY-LEE-AH" - SniperXtreme, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Here.
- deags, on 10/12/2007, -4/+5Also Australia is not a state of america it is a country. A country is a place that is not america(there are more than the one country you propbably know(Iraq) also we are not Iraq)(yeh there are other countries so if you could stop whoreing everything that would be great).
- theone3, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Most of the negative stories are bull anyway. (People like you talking about site moderaters being evil, how Digg.com owes you a something for nothing, etc).
