- titlesaysitall, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10So what, I got the same email too, he is doing something against Digg's TOS?
- da5idblacksun, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8It is a bit perplexing given that almost any story with the words "Kevin Rose" in the title go front page. I'm not sure about the tactic of emailing people, but I don't understand why some consider posting your own material a problem. The material should be judged on its own merit and in this case the mass of diggers are really missing out. There are some serious nuggets in this interview.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+10The submitter of this story spammed my email inbox somehow:
Hi,
Would you be interested in digging an interview I did with Kevin Rose recently?
Thanks in advance,

Appropriately I've buried this as spam. - da5idblacksun, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Good interview.
- jon3k, on 10/12/2007, -3/+6Marked inaccurate - this guy is an idiot.
Read the comments. He was "attacked" by a bunch of hits from a Firefox browser user agent. His hosting company determined that the number of Firefox user agents wasn't representitive of normal traffic, so they told him he was being attacked.
What they didn't realize, is that it was linked on Digg, where 99% of the user's are browsing with Firefox!
$20 says his site is "attacked" again today when everyone goes to download the *BANNED FROM DIGG PODCAST*
This has got to be the lamest form of advertising ever. I'm going to download the podcast 12 times and never listen to it. I recommend you all do the same. - RonaldLewis, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Thanks for your support.
- titlesaysitall, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Crap meant "is he doing something against Digg's TOS?" If it wasn't for the question mark that could've made a pretty significant typo.
- RonaldLewis, on 10/12/2007, -4/+7I've been trying very hard to get this interview noticed in the Digg community. Everyone's e-mail addresses were available via their profile, and while I wasn't happy about personally contacting some of you, I figured you might be supportive instead. I give it up, and my apologies.
- ZaNkY, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2It seemed slow downloading, so here's a mirror in case it gets dugg:

- Balm, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3This is a really cool interview. My buddy did a good job. :)
- da5idblacksun, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2How do you know this? I guess it would explain my story that has 93 diggs and no front page.
- titlesaysitall, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Once a story is submitted it has 24 hours to make the front page after it leaves the queue and cannot make front page status.

- da5idblacksun, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4No worries Ronald, this story WILL go front page. The interview is too good.

- RonaldLewis, on 10/12/2007, -4/+5Thanks for listening, and again, your support. I'm still learning about the intricate details of the "digg system," and it seems that a story's age is a big deal. At first, I figured submitting my own material would be taboo (and it is, according to some), and I tried again by enlisting the help of a friend. It still didn't fly.
The only reason this submission is now at 25 diggs, is because of my own work in personally contacting the community. For the most part, people were gracious, and then you have those above. However, I can understand their position, but at the same time, understand mine. It's senseless that this would go largely unnoticed, not because I personally interviewed him, but because of the content and its value to those who follow digg.
It's no fun being the "little guy" in a "big world." I've always gone after the "big fish" -- hence the securement of Kevin's interview, or other industry icons in the short period of time since I've been producing this podcast.
Again, thanks to everyone. - monkeymad2, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Sorry, but i don't think anyone has said this yet.
There's one major factor in why i don't think this is being noticed - Diggnation.
Digg users get Kevin Roses' (drunken) thoughts and feeling on different subjects every week. Perhaps they don't feel like they need an interview to tell them things?
I don't know, just a thought.
Great interview though. - titlesaysitall, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2Only thing, 2 days old but still a great interview.
- mrshll, on 10/12/2007, -4/+4same here.
- Rice, on 10/12/2007, -5/+5Me too. What an *****.
- RonaldLewis, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2This is going nowhere fast. 27 diggs, but two days old. I'll have to think of some other strategy that's safe and effective.
- da5idblacksun, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Given this won't make it to the front page, I submitted it again because it really does need to. This interview rocks. Please help it to the front page.
http://digg.com/software/Awesome_Interview_With_Kevin_Rose - JJP0223, on 10/12/2007, -6/+5WTF. I got that too. I would have dugg it, but not now you *****.
