- canewediggit, on 01/24/2008, -7/+199thanks for this. despite the opinions of some others in the past few days, i am still amazed at the level of personal interaction and input you guys have with us. i challenge anyone to name another site of this size where they actually ask for and implement changes we request on a regular basis, and the founder, ceo, and staff will converse with you on site. kudos.
now stop my blank profile/history page loads and speed this ***** back-up! - kevinrose, on 01/24/2008, -5/+167We're looking into systems in which you can help us prioritize our bugs -- it would be great to get community input on that.
- renegadeafk, on 01/24/2008, -4/+70Ability to change your up/down vote for a comment
Nice, I hate it when I accidentally digg down a post I agree with or vise-versa
Ability to delete your comments during the editing time frame
Hell yeah - thinkingserious, on 01/24/2008, -3/+67How about using digg itself. i.e. I submit a feature/request bug, and the community diggs or buries that request/bug with the most popular getting implemented.
- BeeArePro, on 01/24/2008, -0/+43Great update! It's great to see that the community's voice is actually heard. Good job guys.
- truspect0r, on 01/25/2008, -0/+40Hey Kevin,
Can you fix the comment link editing function as it's editing the trimmed link causing it to f up edited links. thanks. - unicronband, on 01/24/2008, -5/+43Can you implement something that shows the # of diggs a comment currently has on your profile? That would be sweet.
- iofthestorm, on 01/25/2008, -0/+25Indeed. I can say anything I want about you and you'll never know unless you decide to check this page again.
- masterm1nd, on 01/25/2008, -0/+25Now that's thinking serious...
- thinkingserious, on 01/25/2008, -0/+24Thanks for making me spit out my coffee :p
- Kronos6948, on 01/25/2008, -1/+23Wow...I haven't had to use Captcha to leave a comment in ages.
- sockpuppets, on 01/24/2008, -3/+23You should ask for your money back instead of getting foul mouthed and violent. Oh, wait, it's free.
This should solve your problem right here:
http://www.digg.com/logout - xpose, on 01/24/2008, -2/+20Hey Kevin, Thanks for not adding comment notifications of replies. It would suck if we actually had conversations on here.
- sockpuppets, on 01/24/2008, -4/+21Wasn't bugzilla invented like a decade ago?
- MacEnvy, on 01/25/2008, -1/+16Maybe it takes longer if all of your comments get buried to oblivion and everyone blocks you.
- Dylson, on 01/24/2008, -1/+16When exactly is this new system going to roll out? 'Soon' can't come soon enough.
- Satanael, on 01/25/2008, -3/+17Hopefully the digg +/- change ability will only be allowed once, so we don't get tools constantly changing their minds about what they feel they are or aren't supposed to like.
- DivisibleByZero, on 01/25/2008, -0/+14I've been getting a "session timed out" bug recently. Anybody else seem this? Sometimes I'll try to post a comment, but will get an error message saying that my session has expired, I should wait a few minutes and try again. Once I see that message, I will never be able to post that comment. Suppose I reply to a different message, that works, but try to reply to the one where I initially got the "expired session", no dice.
It happens both when I'm posting a new comment to a story, or replying to somebody elses.
Seems to happen intermittently too. I'll go through a story, reply to one message fine, the next one fails within minutes. Make a third reply and it works. But go back and try to repost that same comment? Not a chance.
I've been reluctant to file a bug report since I don't have an accurate reproduction scenario, and terribly hate it when I have to work on a non-reproducible bug. - sgtbutterscotch, on 01/25/2008, -3/+16Sort of like what your profile already shows?
- arcooke, on 01/25/2008, -1/+12Maybe your submissions just suck.
- Derferman, on 01/24/2008, -0/+11Will the current URL issue be fixed as well?
- endlessoul, on 01/25/2008, -0/+11Although Butterscotch could have used a bit more couth, he's right. The diggs already show on your profile/comments page.
- chrisbosh123, on 01/24/2008, -2/+12Thanks! and btw...um... any comments on yesterday's rather interesting turn of events..? I mean.. you want to address the community don't you?
- inactive, on 01/25/2008, -0/+10Sometimes I run my mouth and wish I could take it all back, so this will be a great feature for me.
- Oomsoup, on 01/24/2008, -0/+9It's nice to be listened to and I loved that you got the feedback through diggs. :) Can't wait to see how it all turns out!
- chrisbosh123, on 01/25/2008, -2/+11Your sarcasm is SO easy to understand!
/sarcasm - inactive, on 01/25/2008, -2/+11We need a better way to label people as "trolls," you know the ones who comment 100+ times per day, always negative, racist, homophobic, etc, and never submit anything or actually contribute to intelligent debate. Maybe a "mark as troll" button and after someone gets a hundred or so, they have a little icon of a troll face or something.
- spammishking, on 01/25/2008, -0/+9Congratulations you won a free bury!!!!!11!1!11

- HalFTW, on 01/25/2008, -0/+7What is with Digg trying to load http://edge.quantserve.com/quant.js ? It is timing out and delaying page loads by 20 seconds (visible in FireBug).
- AmazingAndrex, on 01/25/2008, -0/+7And this is why I joined Digg.
- canewediggit, on 01/25/2008, -2/+8we have a pic section. this is a blog about the comment fix following a video they made to specifically ask for our feedback. so yes, i'd say they do make changes.
i didn't even care about the comment things (although i like the podcast section's look better). i'm just happy it's done so everyone will stop bitching. - Jalh, on 01/25/2008, -0/+6FINALLY: Ability to delete your comments during the editing time frame.
how many stupid comments i posted because i can't delete them. - inactive, on 01/25/2008, -0/+6It might be a problem if several people have commented on a reply that gets deleted later. Would you also delete the sub comments? I think my head hurts.
- duncanbell, on 01/25/2008, -0/+6Amen.
- njcarlos, on 01/25/2008, -0/+5How do they know gender? I don't get this... or is it based on Digg profile details? Household income? I think Quantcast = Satan.
- theblueprint, on 01/24/2008, -3/+8I have massive issues with getting my "friends' commented" page to load.
I use both XP and Leopard... and I have loading issues on every browser I've tried on either OS. I've removed a lot of my "friends" in an effort to speed it up, or at least get it to load every time. I've had it refuse to load anything besides my profile pic and the banner ad ten or more times in a row.
I spend most of my time on Digg commenting in threads, so it's especially frustrating. - SkippyDoorknob, on 01/25/2008, -3/+8test
- skylarsutton, on 01/25/2008, -1/+6Maybe your sarcasm wasn't apparent.
- youreh, on 01/25/2008, -0/+5your spelling is inaccurate.
- memodude, on 01/25/2008, -0/+5what about the

bug - Leadhyena, on 01/25/2008, -0/+5Mayor: No Mr. Garrison, we cannot get rid of all the Scientologists...
Mr. Garrison: Rats! - Oomsoup, on 01/25/2008, -0/+5You've only Dugg 6 stories, ever. I have a feeling that has something to do with it. Probably to stop trolls who never want digg or submit stories but just want to leave hundreds of malicious comments.
- Comanche, on 01/25/2008, -0/+4FINALLY! I hate having to log back in after every 3 clicks.
I had to log in just to post this! - inactive, on 01/25/2008, -0/+4They already did that, check the small print in the comment.
- DivisibleByZero, on 01/25/2008, -0/+4In addition to the number of replies, I'd also like it if the "My Profile" page would show the number of Diggs my comment has gotten. That way I don't have to click on a message to see if there's been activity on it
- inactive, on 01/25/2008, -4/+8You use IE7?
- SkippyDoorknob, on 01/25/2008, -3/+7test 2
- inactive, on 01/25/2008, -0/+4We MUST HAVE BOLD FORMATING so I don't have to yell, and strikethrough as well. In fact, if we could just sort of take all the capabilities of BBcode, that'd be great. It'd be fun to see how many different ways one could imply sarcasm without actually needing to use a /sarc
