- 0zzy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3QUOTE: Just because you quote something doesn't let you off the hook for misspelling something, there is this thing called proofreading. Everything you do is a reflection of who you are - even spelling.
taht dood iz so rihgt, ....ERRRR
That person is correct. - infra172, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1There should be an age limit to posting to Digg.
- digitalhair, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Poor guy...he was just being honest! and pretty funny too. To see that Bill Gates can't laugh at something like that just makes me hate my boss even more...
I'm sure some of you can relate. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1That's why there is [sic].
- 0zzy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0LOL! Thats freaking funny. What is this clip I must see it?!
- alexander000, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3Just because you quote something doesn't let you off the hook for misspelling something, there is this thing called proofreading. Everything you do is a reflection of who you are - even spelling.
- purpleacid, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1"I meant the NT Logon of course..." --- ahahahah, I don't care who you are, now that's funny right there.
- bryantee, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Computer geeks aren't the ones with spelling problems, it's the dumb gamers who think they're leet. Besides, they're too cool to to type correctly anyways.
" 'I meant the NT Logon of course...' --- ahahahah, I don't care who you are, now that's funny right there. "
That was my favorite part, too. - danlin, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1man, if billg had the temper of stevej, david bradley can expect to never work in the industry ever again...
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Poor Bill. Almost as embarrassing as his last keynote.

- ciphex, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Wow. I feel so bad for that guy. Why can't these moguls take a joke?!
(The word "moguls" brought to you correctly spelled thanks to Tiger's Dictionary dashboard widget.) - a.wulf, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0ha, that's hilarious
- LeLoup, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0ROFLMAO... having a rough day. I needed that.
- scottym, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0That's a great vid. Anyone have a copy I can keep on my hard drive?
(Hey, Mom, no spelling errors, and I'm a programmer!) - suMMx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0god, gates seems like such a douche bag, he can't even take a joke.

Hats off to Bradly for invening it.
Hats off agian for slamming Bill Gates. - sbasund, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I love seeing Bill getting served. Here is another one:
http://www.bitstorm.org/gates/ - mikson, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0haha funny "i maybe invented it but bill made it famous" yup without ctr+alt+delete there would be no windows i wouldn't want to reboot my PC every time when a program dies
- caldroun, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Old...BUT CLASSIC.
- scorwitz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I believe it's backpedal, as in going back to before you said or did something? Maybe I'm wrong here as when I was a kid I thought it was "Take it for granite" instead of granted.
- sbasund, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0dissed
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Well it wasnt really a joke it was true but im sure he will just buy himself a new house or something to take his mind of it :).
- geoboy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I remember seeing this when Bradley was on The Screen Savers. Was that the homebrew computer geek roundup episode? I don't remember...
- prax, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0::sigh:: You make fun of Gates, you make fun of Microsoft, yet you still use Windows. Put your money where your mouth!
- LR2_, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"I meant the NT Logon of course..." ..I was laughing out loud. Classic!
- don613, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"::sigh:: You make fun of Gates, you make fun of Microsoft, yet you still use Windows. Put your money where your mouth!"
Supporting Windows has earned me a great job, nice house, pool and lots of other cool toys. No need to switch to Linux yet. ;) - mpeters13, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0That was absolutely hilarious.
- mpeters13, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"::sigh:: You make fun of Gates, you make fun of Microsoft, yet you still use Windows. Put your money where your mouth!"
That goes for anything else you hypocrite. If you're going to bitch for the defense of Microsoft, apply this to everyday life. Stop laughing at Family Guy jokes, as one day you are going to laugh at something you relate to personally, and that's bad because humans are perfect and aren't supposed to enjoy themselves. Sheesh. - digitalhair, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0btw, is that guy with the spelling police or something? is the Gestapo trying to reorganize?
- TomGu, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Yes it is backpedal, but as someone pointed out before, the guy who posted this just copied "packpedal" from the website
- The_Monarch, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Just to put an end to the spelling comment..
He didn't spell it wrong he just copied the text from the page it was displayed on.
The person who put up the page spelled it wrong.
That said this video was one of the funniest techie videos I've seen.
David's comment after he says "Bill made it famous" is hilarious.
You can tell he's trying to save his ass from getting attacked by Windows Killer Robots. - akaidiot, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0I have a nick you know.. It's akaidiot. And yes, I just used the olde' ctrl-c & ctrl-v. I'm using a super-mini keyboard right now with built in trackball so the "acward" misspelling is a simple finger slipppp.
- Dipster, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1Please learn to spell. It just reinforces the stereotype that computer geeks have poor language skills.
The term is "Backpedal", as in pedaling backwards.
And it's "Awkward".
There's a "check spelling" button just for people like you! - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1Computer geeks do have bad speeling skills! Oops.. I mean "Spelling"
I have noticed this a lot and often ask myself how these people can know so much programming and other things but can even spell a simple word such as "length" - akaidiot, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1Please learn to not fill internet news sites with unneccesary spelling correction. The packpedal mistake was quoted from the video page. If it is important to you that everything everywhere is spelled after the dictionary, e-mail them..
