I don't own the rights so I'm not selling it or giving it away, but I sure as hell will continue putting copies on my media PC like this guy. I've downloaded plenty of albums and movies too. I already own them, but it's faster to download it from a torrent than to stick each CD or DVD in and transfer them. RIAA can suck a rocket *****.

- Laminarcissus, on 11/04/2009, -4/+11I don't download things I already own, I download things I don't own so I can watch and listen to them without paying for them. I haven't paid for music in years, and I don't even bother belonging to Netflix because, well, I download everything.
I know it's not particularly right, I'm not going to put it on my resume, but two-dollar moral quandaries and threats of prosecution are a little remote, especially when I get 1,000KB/s download speed.
And let's face it, there are many more of me than there are of you.
Now granted, telling the truth on this subject will get me buried into the basement on Digg, but I'm just sick of the model citizen ***** whenever this topic comes up.
