- SybotCB, on 10/12/2007, -0/+320 pounds is a small price to play to reign destruction on those that would oppose you in the office.
- LeifDyvik, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2This is fun for 15.3 seconds. Then you wonder why you wasted the money!
- retr0spectiv, on 10/12/2007, -3/+5""Its 20 pounds heavy? Nevermind then!"
No, it costs 20 pounds lol in europe they use the metric system, so they don't use pounds for weight."
BRILLIANT OBSERVATION CAPTAIN OBVIOUS.
way to kill a joke - chirbirch, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2scorched office?
- Mantus, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I'm thinking a large usb hub, and hooking up an entire arsenal
- mrgeekguy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1These things are nuclear tipped, right?
- bab7880, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Love it, want it, have to have it
Wonder if i can set it to a motion detector - Uthman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Very cool =)
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Be careful if you toggle your left and right mouse buttons. You just might kill yourself.
- tiburon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1My own little missile battery, bwhaaaah!!!!
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1ahhhh we can hook something better to fire then those little wimpy darts
- TomJ, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1If these guys were smart they would try to sell it w/ a usb cam, or bundle a few w/ a usb splitter, not a thermometer.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4well saying "Saying "it sounds so gay", sounds so gay" sounds gay so stop saying it okay
- ra3ndy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I'm awestruck. It's so pure I might just cry.....
- shiftlock, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I can see me modding this to a better use
- MightyGiant, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Now all it needs is tiny webcams on the ends of the darts.
- schrags, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Linux plus a webcam with motion detection or laser trip peripheral, need i say more.
- denied, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Wow it's like a 21st century spitwad.
- skwhirl, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0What, no on-dart camera? Worthless.
- neofactor, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Why is this under DEALS?
- skakels, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0awww, you had me siked up till I saw the text below the loading screen
- edgecurve, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Too bad these are tough to find...I think it's a great idea. I'd need missile re-fill packs too.
- skakels, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Here is a great video of these in action at http://www.dafyd.me.uk/docs/movies/missilelauncher.mpg

- Historian, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Anybody have a video of these in action?
- mrtom852, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Had a look in store today. It's a lot bigger than I thought it would be - ~8 inches high. It takes its own batteries too.
- skakels, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I hope so. The guy on eBay was selling them for a lot cheaper and the shipping cost wasn’t even half what it is now. If I lived in the UK, I’d go buy 50 of these and sell ‘em on ebay to the US. MADE MADE money could be made.
- turdboogaloo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0just finished buying mine now. for the first time i am actually glad i moved to the uk.
- JokitoRoyo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I need these for my secret lair!
- SybotCB, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Oooh, those are as cool as I thought they would be when I originally saw them and posted the article. Thanks for the video. Unfortunately, they are now expensive on Ebay, and I still haven't seen anyone that sells them. Why doesn't Thinkgeek pick these up?
- thebigman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0You can get them now for $40
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8732884194 - skakels, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This was posted on another website I go to:
"OK. Just got a couple of them, and they work fabulously. Basicly, they're spring loaded, go about 4 - 5 ft. and moves 360deg. horizontally and about 90deg. vertically. Software is only about 5mb so proberly very simple. It is very well made, very solid and proberly very hard to break. Excellent, you all must have it. P.S. It works through VNC too, although the application must be running on the PC the launcher is attached to. Another thing which works is a "USB device emulator, which shares a USB port other a network to a PC, which then tricks the software into thinking it's directly attached." - 71M80, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0i was gonna buy a tonne of these and sell em to you yanks but, curse god that im an unemployed student!
- DrunkNomad, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Just as useful/less as the USB drink cooler, but definitely has a sense of fun. (Think CUBICLE WARS) Oh, the petty games we play!
- clarky, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I just picked up two! Too cool. They're exclusive to M&S so you'll have to find someone in the UK to buy them for you.
- 71M80, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0what this needs is tank tracks, a webcam ,wifi and a clamp so you can attach it to a window frame or a door then it would be perfect.
- kalessin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0simple solution. go to mailboxes etc.'s site, get a mailbox in the UK for a few bucks, then set up the forwarding option to have it shipped to the states. It'll end up costing you alot more for that one item, but Im sure the bright people in the crowd could see other potential uses for such a technique.
- hicksy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0sweet
- alchemista, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0If you really want one of these, I can get them for you at 25 pounds + shipping. You can email at usbdarts at yahoo.
- artofwot, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Darts = Fun
Darts + USB = Geeky Awesomeness. - jaspinDroid, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0hope you can daisy chain them
- ever, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Haha :D.. A definitive digg. I only need to replace the darts with sharp ones and get hold of some spasm inducing poison. And for the guy complaining about javascript and cookies: Awww come on, it's not like the site's creator has anything to do with the product itself. And it's not THAT bad a problem, is it? Sexually transmitted diseases and problems with your wife/gf/bf are something to make a fuzz about, not javascript and cookies :P. Sorry :D.
- n6mod, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0So does Motion have an API we could use for aiming? I'm thinking cubicle defense a la Aegis/Phalanx. ;)
- merdeisel, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0that would be sweet to switch them to tranquilizer darts and tag your boss in the neck everytime he gets on your case.
- codemeister, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0anyone know of any US retailers? they wont ship out of the country
- Mark_DeRidder, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0oh we gotta have this for our office!
- lordthor, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I'm going to have a couple UK friends ship them to me, then sell them on eBay for double the cost.... and keep 3 for myself; One for work, one for home, and one for my laptop, so I can shoot annoying people and jocks in the groin on the go!
- Acill, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I so dugg this one! Too cool!!!!
- soleblazer, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0sucks u can't by them in the states
- thebigman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0They are up on ebay now, strong pound makes them less than a bargain.
