Configure WMCE for HDTV without a full-time NTSC tuner

hdbeat.com — In part 4 of our "mash-up a WMCE with HDTV for under $1k" series, we get stopped by the awful limitation that WMCE has. You can't configure a digital or ATSC tuner without having an analog or NTSC tuner. There are a few workarounds and we outline them here.

Which pretty much requires me to go from the xbox to the xbox360 for component HD inputs. at any rate thanks for the interesting read!

  • rhyinem, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I thought that this was how to get it all working without the NTSC tuner. He connected the NTSC tuner so it would get past the analog tuner setup. So how exactly is that setting up MCE without the analog tuner? I call shananagans on this one...
