Here's a few reasons:
1) Star Trek -- I dont think the original Star Trek belongs on a channel for current technology, plus the whole "2.0" thing sucks
2) Star Trek: The Next Generation -- Great on SpikeTV... not so much on G4TV.. G4TV should be about Gaming and computers
3) X-Play with Adam Sessler and Morgan Webb -- Great show... thats the ONLY reason I throw on G4 anymore.
4) Morgan Webb -- :-D (see above)
5) Olivia Munn -- eh.. goes from MySpace girl of the week to fulltime co-host... got rid of someone who KNEW what she was doing Sara Lane. IMO trading in a Ferrari for an old VW rabbit
Bottom Line... G4TV Took over TechTV... Killed it off (got rid of all the REAL tech shows, Unscrewed, Kevin Rose, Sara Lane) and brought shows like The Whipset and Fast Lane -- I knew there was nothing good on G4TV the night I turned it on to see the opening of a show (Fast Lane) with a guy heating up heroine on a spoon and injecting himself... It's pretty much exactly the same as he used to do it way back in the good old days. It's a shame that it doesn't get broadcasted in the US.

Anyway His show is great up here in CANADA and he's relocating CALL FOR HELP to Vancouver. Kevin was on they're last year describing Digg.con and Diggnation don't you people know this stuff

Man people you got to get with the times !!! This guy can't steal Call For Help it still exisits and has long after TecH Tv fired his ass for being a scary pervert on love TV on many occassions to viewer calls and Kat and Morgan !!!! He was fired a long time years before G4 ever even took over TECH TV !!! He's a mess who i sbroke ass and lives with his parents he sad and none of the Tech TV crew liked him. He's obnoxious and he was a pervert and fired for haressment and bother co workers !!!!

In Canada Call for Help is still on with Leo Laporte and Cali Lewis, until resently Amber MacArthur was the co-host.
Call for Help in Canada will now be called "The Lab" with Leo Laporte and because of the fact that production will be moved from Toronto and the Rogers studio, too Vancouver with Greedy Productions, the details such as hosting duties are not known yet. Other then Leo of course.
Chris Prillo did Call for Help for a while, when Leo couldn't handle both The Screen Savers and Call for Help at the same time. In my opinion they are/where both great hosts.
Last but no least, G4TV exists only in the states, in Canada it's called G4TechTV and there is alot less gaming programing, there are more tech based shows like Call for Help, Torrent, and other spin-off shows. - redfox2600, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10@agildehaus

I miss the old ZDTV lineup: GameSpotTV, Internet Tonight, The Money Machine, Call for Help, The Screen Savers, Fresh Gear, Silicon Spin, ZDTV News, etc. That's not even counting some of the great additions over the years. The quality of that network made G4 look like amateur hour... which is why the merger was so painful to watch. On the other hand, at least G4 gets me out of the house... by making me hate my TV. I'm no longer wasting half of my day watching quality technology programming. I guess that could be construed as a good thing. - inturnaround, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9Call For Help is being retooled. Give the man a chance. I would always have Call for Help on when I was doing something ELSE on the computer. It's not old reruns or anything, they're still making it but they moved to TechTV Canada because G4 is the devil.

I'm glad that he is spearheading all of this, but I would rather listen to Leo and Co. than I would watch Chris. Plus when I listen to stuff on the TWIT.TV network, I don't have to put down what I'm doing to pay attention.

Why is every one getting hung up on the name change to "The Lab".
It's "Call for Help" in all but it's name. I'll still watch it every day.
