news.com.com — On Friday, Adidas began selling its first model of running shoes known as Adidas-1, equipped with an onboard processor that automatically responds to adjust to the wearer's foot. The shoes use a sensor and magnet to transmit information to the microprocessor to regulate the appropriate cushioning level. The shoes retail for 250 USD.
