- chris_hale, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2And what does this do... that the plugin from the coralcdn website doesn't?
http://www.coralcdn.org/plugins/ - Rirath, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Coral Cache doesn't work as they say on Slashdot, and a simple bookmarklet would be easier, honestly.
- TylerWeir, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Might I suggest the GreaseMonkey script I put together to automatically link nyud, coral and google mirrors for every digg story: http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/1807
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2As time progresses it will not be limited to just CoralCDN. It will try multiple caching services. Don't use it if you don't need it.
- mesostinky, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I just use the gcache extension. The thing is with these services is it will either be ass slow or you'll get the text with no pictures.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Yep. Always did. It horribly crashed 1.0.x though.
- Pas3n7, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0But does it work with 1.5?

No, because that's the old version that didn't work. This one works, and, I must add, is quite nice. - Shizlak, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I've been using this extension for 2 weeks and it has NEVER loaded a web page that has died from the digg effect. what junk. uninstalling...
- lordthor, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This extention caused my firefox to stop working. It will no longer load up properly. I strongly recommend not downloading it.
- fennec, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Am I the only one who finds the Coral Cache to be slow as molasses?

First, the Coral Cache servers (there are at least a couple dozen spread across the US) _all_ have to get a copy of the files involved in the cache. Once all those servers are synchronised, then the one closest (or fastest) to you will send you the cache. Once the page is cached, however, Coral will be quite speedy. :) - lordthor, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0UPDATE: Installing the newer version 1.5 of Firefox will fix the problem, but it will disable almost all of your extensions. I still recommend not downloading it until your extensions become compatible with 1.5. The newer version of FF can be downloaded from www.download.com through Internet Explorer. (Oh, how I loathed having to open that wretched program. I felt naked to the cyber-world.)
