CEA Grows Some - Opposes MPAA on HDTV Blackout

speec.mobi — The MPAA requested the FCC to grant its members with the power to turn off component out satellite and digital cable boxes that are in your home (AKA Selective Output Control or "SOC"). The CEA just met with the FCC to oppose the MPAA grab for power without limitations.
