- p2pintel, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6this is actually a repeat story because i posted the same thing a few days ago here:
but i'm not complaining because am campaigning for the same.
you may bypass the filter by going to:
http://blogspot.com.nyud.net:8090/ - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5what do you expect from a culture that wants their women to cover their faces in public, and kills each other because of a cartoon.
- drawab, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4As i write this comment we have upwards of 38 diggs - I wonder how many more diggs will it take to reach the attention of the larger global audience.
I just feel the bureaucracy in Pakistan is numb to the hue and cry of local Pakistanis - we mean nothing to them - only will we create change when the international media starts to Holler and I hope they holler loud and clear - to send a strong message to Pervaiz Musharraf - who claims to be governing with Enlightened Moderation - AHA so no wonder he has now resorted to Moderation ;)
DON'T BLOCK THE BLOGS - fleischner, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1...yet they have nuclear weapons. *shiver*
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I hate to say what's probably going to be an unpopular comment, but censorship is nothing new, and there isn't much anyone can do about it. All the protesting in the world hasn't stopped China, or any of a plethora of other countries from restricting what their civilians hear and read, and I'd be very suprised if there was anything to be done in this case,
- drpak, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Fellow bloggers who wish to join the campaign to overturn the ban, please join the public google group below. Anyone can join and everyone is welcome. The more people we have, the better.

Religion does some terrible things to some people... - ovais, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1If you use Firfox, I have written a simple firefox extension httProxy (http://httproxy.mozdev.org/) in order to provide an easy work-around the blockade of blogspot blogs in Pakistan. Using httProxy, you can access any blocked page using the pre-defined set of proxies.
Installation and usage guide are avaiable here: http://httproxy.mozdev.org/installation.html
Comments, questions and future features can be written at: http://httproxy.mozdev.org/comments.html - drawab, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Farhan - the problem is - with 10 days already behind us - and no sign of relief it becomes slowly evident that this is no longer a mistake but a deliberate attempt to censor free speech.
- mzain90, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0What are they trying to do
do you guys have heard any "justification"
i don't see anything to argue about
i mean the know what they have done has cause unrest
if it has some thing to do with the cartoon issue that's done with

why do Pakistani have to suffer - naveedmemon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0To access any blogspot blog in Pakistan please use:
http://www.pkblogs.com/blogname
e.g. http://www.pkblogs.com/yasirmemon
This is just a proxy server, that will proxy the page from blogspot server and display it to the user. This service is completely ad-free, popups-free…
I hope the govt. doesn’t block this website!!!
Well till then, have fun!!
www.pkblogs.com - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0i think using proxy should solve the problem ???
http://www.hidemyip.net - anonymizer, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0http://anonymizer.at should work just fine too.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -4/+3I'm tired of these stupid Chinese and Arabs. Get a ***** life you communists/terrorists!
Amen! - Farhan, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0I am sure this was just a mistake. Some crazy azz Relegious people were campaigning for closing the site becasue some blogs had the cartoons.
Probably just a temporary ban - flyingdeath, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1This is *****. People shoudl be allowed to speak and write everything they want.
