- b7illsmith, on 10/12/2007, -2/+61Pretty good story. Speaking of screenshots, It would be nice if you cut back on the auto-digging. Thanx.

I just wish the Record companies could realize that because of this site I brought a CD yesterday (after hearing some songs from a band I didn't have). It should stay.
I also wonder if it can take all the digg users now that its made it here. - seventoes, on 10/12/2007, -1/+17amazing that the submitter didnt use any buzzwords in the title. I need to make up for that.
New Title:
AMAZING Apple iPod Ubuntu AJAX Music!!!!!!! - bitcloud, on 10/12/2007, -0/+15you can take it on a virtual bus, where all your virtual friends will think your virtually enlightening comments to be virtually amusing.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -5/+20Probably wont last. Pandora FTW anyhow.
- micro506, on 10/12/2007, -0/+12You forgot "BREAKING NEWS."
- sired22, on 10/12/2007, -0/+11lol what i like is it downloads the song to the temporary Internet files under
"C:Documents and SettingsOwnerLocal Settings" and then you just search for "*.rbs" and rename to ".mp3".
at least that's all i had to do for a song. i would thing they would have better protection from that stuff but then again i cant think of how they could protect it better while keeping there current system - PAJK, on 10/12/2007, -4/+13I've been listening to this all day. It's a keeper.
- duckedtapedemon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9I thought ipod was a buzzword these days.
- EmileVictor, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9They sound like Gerbils because it's a major flash bug that needs to be fixed.
- fatdog789, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8This is radio.blog.club; this site merely uses radio.blog's api for its own purposes.
Which really means that radio.blog is the one bearing the brunt of the digg. - deweyhewson, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Listen to "Hide Away" by Rock Kills Kid on there. My computer too fast, perhaps? *laugh*
- Kaosu, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7I saw this on techcrunch earlier. Me and my mate were enjoying this neat site. However, my worst fear has dawned. Now that it is on digg, isn't sort of imminent that it will be shutdown? Whatever obscurity - and thus safety - it had is now gone. Let us hope it is not the case.
P.S: For those who know why Pandora is totally safe from this, they have license agreements that allow them to use songs as long as the user does not get freedom in song choice and their skipping ability is hindered. - Sheir, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Yeah I've been using it for a while. Hooked it up at the Apple Store today and blasted some Pixies and Architecture in Helsinki. Good times.
- Odweaver, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7Meh, its ok, I think Radio.blog.club and pandora are better
- rstr1212, on 10/12/2007, -2/+8That is impressive. Just the ease of use is nice!!!
- LordofChaosIori, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7I think this is great! but one can't help but wonder how long until it gets shut down by the RIAA... :/
They're the kind of people who would've hung Captain Jack Sparrow :) - sired22, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5hmm they are pulling music from all over so perhaps they have a spider running around and indexing files based on the tags? it seems like it would be a less of a hassle then actually scattering there files over different servers.

- DannySpace, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6I've been using http://www.radioblogclub.com for a while. It's got a better selection in my opinion.
- sired22, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4http://www.blogmusik.net/index.swf is the location of the player. i wonder if you could mod that some how... hmm i wouldn't know I'm great at finding and downloading stuff but modding stuff i know nothing about.
- dohidied, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Yeah, because having to type in the song I want into my iPod would be freaking awesome.
- michaelyurechko, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4I think a scroll wheel would've been cool, but that's really hard to do in flash (well, it would be hard for me with my flash experience anyways)
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4and it actually has good song to song transitions...unlike the real ipod..lol
- neozeed, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5Once they get done with the OS/2 flash player.
- izaic3, on 10/12/2007, -7/+11Finally, the real ipod killer!
- sired22, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3using a program called 'url helper' it monitors urls your computer requests
- tomi, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Nope, not here.
Anyone know where this site caches its songs (like Pandora did)? - rishdeep, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Yes this ain't an iPod and probably has zilch to do with iPods completely but as far as I'm concerned it's great. I just searched for Keane and found all the songs that I expected to at least see.
Pandora is awesome but it doesn't let you listen to the exact song or artist you want to, just similiar artists (and eventually if you keep listening it does get to the song you want - but not on-demand because apparently they do not have the licence to do this).
Btw, if you like this then check out: http://hype.non-standard.net/ - tomi, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3How did you find this?
- hw88, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Very Cool. It is a great idea, and works smoothly.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3The gap-less effect is a really nice touch.
I overall like it, nice to hear many songs with easy clicks.
And it got Pink Floyd, im happy. - igutekunst, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3How's this legal? Wait, I don't want to know.
- sired22, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2well i know I'm going to be using it and tearing what media i can from the site and onto my computer. i would give it 2 weeks unless the local government acts on its own because of the red tape always involved with international action. They should try and go for a place the doesn't have to worry about copyright laws. Other wise i cant complain free is free and maxthon stop any ads so its all good.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2wow, damn smart on your part
- martin77, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2" ALL I SEE IS A BIG..."
a big what ? Dog ? Cat ? Mess ?
You need to be a bit more specific. - sired22, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2maybe they are also trying to avoid being shut down by claiming what most bit-torrents do
"oh we only index files we don't actually have the files on our servers... player? what player that just happens to look like a music player its really our um.... new version of ummm...notepad?" - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+5Many blogs are questioning how long it will last:

It's a fun site but I wouldn't get too attached to it. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2very well done, i like little touches like fading between songs
- apeman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I'm guessing the RIAA doesn't work weekends (like most useless bloated bureaucracies). Blogmusik will be pulled first thing Monday AM, unfortunately.
- sniper6121, on 10/12/2007, -4/+6Cool idea, but highly illegal.... its located in France not sure what there copyright laws entail, but im sure the RIAA will take awhile till this site is shut down. Since its on diggs front page I give it about 1 week.
- ptknight, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I think RIAA can kiss my ass because I'm outside their jurisdiction!
Hmm, who's that knocking at my door so late? - RubberbandLN6, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Hey, Radio.blog.club has been around for years and it's still standing, so I see no reason why this would go down anytime soon if it is located in France like Radio.blog.club.
- aznboi04k, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2why does it keep saying you're not registered when i try to save a song? i already registered an account! that's beta for you.
- Zyk0tiK, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Nah it should last, France don't have the copyright laws we do. I remember back to a MMO game called Graal, some guy was pretending to be a sound engineer and was using stolen songs, then he got busted, but they couldn't sue him 'cause all the files were hosted in France.
- jvicinanza, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Who is the RIAA?? ;)
- Necraz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Slick interface, and seemingly a great selection of songs. Slightly concerned that it won't last long, but definitely worth a look! Some of the songs aren't as high quality as you'd expect, but the majority of them seemed fine. Even the lesser quality ones were pretty decent sounding.
- kdubbz6688, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2the music quality isent that good on some albums
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2You can choose if your playlist is "public" or "private" but I can't find any way to share playlists...
