- Agencyundergrnd, on 04/22/2008, -0/+3This seems to be a common trend; of bringing copy writing in-house for blog writing. I think this is fine; way better than "ghostwriting" blogs in the name of a CEO. I also like the fact that the CEO of TSheets (Matt Rissell) made the request himself.
- ajstallones, on 04/22/2008, -0/+4Not a bad compensation for the ability to write a good blog, but I wonder what the pay/commitment is after you get the job.
- robinsdigging, on 04/22/2008, -0/+0Is this a part-time extra-income job, or a full-time expectation?
- mrvonhayes, on 04/22/2008, -0/+0thats something new... cool
- Alexton, on 04/22/2008, -0/+1I used to work for About.com, which paid their writers to blog based on how many page views they got. Writing for blogs - if you can find one that pays fairly - is probably one of the best jobs you can get if you like having your freedom and setting your own hours. I paid my way through school that way, and fit between classes perfectly. If these guys make their money off of direct sales of some sort - like they make money by drawing people to the site and selling them something - they will likely pay a solid rate, and it's a job worth having.
Edit - from looking over their site, it looks like they make their money from selling a service, which means if I were looking for a job, I'd probably send something in. - razzle5677, on 04/23/2008, -0/+0Hey, it's an opportunity to get paid to creatively market through writing. I love it.
Somebody's thinking... - rtknox00, on 04/23/2008, -0/+1very clever marketing stunt
