- colto, on 11/21/2007, -3/+16Sorry for the comment hijacking but the people who posted this totally ripped off the version that was posted on the fatwallet.com Hot Deals section. A user there actually put all of these together from the adscans and made it so that you can sort by store, product, subcategory, etc. He does it every year and obviously puts a lot of time into it so I hate to see someone rip him off and get the credit. Here is a link to the thread: http://www.fatwallet.com/t/18/781988
- acarr, on 11/21/2007, -3/+14I don't go anywhere on Friday. That's Maddness. I'm not that cheap.
- santasing, on 11/21/2007, -0/+10Chill out man, someone might be able to afford something that they were on the fence about.
- akelnat, on 11/22/2007, -2/+10Thanks for stealing my work and claiming it as your own!
Here is my original post on fatwallet - http://www.fatwallet.com/t/18/781988
and the original on slickdeals - http://forums.slickdeals.net/showthread.php?thread ...

- banty19, on 11/21/2007, -3/+6This is pretty, pretty, pretty good.
- davidrools, on 11/21/2007, -2/+5this doesn't make much more sense

- ClintiePoo, on 11/22/2007, -0/+2If you open the spreadsheet in excel (2007 at least) you can sort the data in all sorts of different ways. It's really very nice. I don't know why people don't like it.
- xcaliiber, on 11/21/2007, -1/+3digg = death to small websites
- Zoshchenko, on 11/21/2007, -1/+3loading...loading...loading...loading...the hell with it.
- Kumate, on 11/22/2007, -0/+110am-7pm wooooot!
- santasing, on 11/24/2007, -0/+1The link was getting slow. And I really doubt something hosted on Google servers would suffer from the Digg effect. Would that be clear enough for you?
- oMeSSiaHo, on 11/22/2007, -0/+1Pssh, thats not a Black Friday shift. The worse I did was 3am to 10pm. Plus I had to walk to work, up hill...both ways!
- rkuchiki, on 12/10/2007, -0/+1Oh I'm sorry, I guess there should be a warning then that 2gb is not enough.
- acarr, on 11/21/2007, -2/+3guess so. You need to get one of those non-retail jobs.
- chokeaduck, on 11/22/2007, -0/+1I don't know why people were digging you down, I gave you a big thumbs up!
- jonborthwick, on 11/23/2007, -0/+1Pivot Tables FTW!
- navster15, on 11/21/2007, -1/+2*Twiddles thumbs until Boxing Day in Canada*
- turboblake, on 11/22/2007, -0/+1I think this list is a real help, I don't see why it's making everybody so mad. Thanks.
- bigtedshred, on 11/21/2007, -2/+3as colto said in the first comment, here's the original link (via fatwallet) http://www.fatwallet.com/forums/messageview.php?ca ... .. there's much faster download links there and the real owner is updating it as new information comes out. Just go there for the info (it actually loads!).
- juventusc, on 11/21/2007, -1/+2what a thief!!! why don't you guys actually post the links to the original source FATWALLET,
F@ck your mirrors... link to the actual source.
every deal either comes from slickdeals or fatwallet. this site just stole the spreadsheet from the deal forums. - SpeedyG, on 11/22/2007, -0/+1Suppose that for some people, going shopping the day after Thanksgiving IS a family event? You know, when everyone's in town?
It's not a freaking crime to buy luxury goods. Stop with the counterculture snob. - rayraym0fucka, on 11/21/2007, -1/+1I work on friday as well. network service is a bitch.
- deltron, on 11/21/2007, -1/+1Working on Friday at Circuit City is gonna blow.
- simpleblob, on 11/21/2007, -3/+3Mirror:
http://www.dimetosave.com.nyud.net:8080/BF_Buying_ ... - EXreaction, on 11/21/2007, -1/+1Coming from someone who is so busy with their perfect life, right? So busy you have time to troll digg?
Call me whatever you want, but I am going out to have some fun rushing around between stores trying to get some good deals on stuff. Even though most of the stuff isn't that much cheaper than normal prices, it is fun to be able to rush into stores with a huge crowd and try to grab the things you were looking at before everyone else.
It's like an easter egg hunt (with more rushing than searching) for adults. - akelnat, on 11/22/2007, -2/+2The slickdeals link got cut off, here is the correct link:
http://forums.slickdeals.net/showthread.php?thread ... - jj2me, on 11/21/2007, -1/+1No!
My friend once put cereal in his mouth, and in the middle of the night, got up and pretend-puked. His wife saw the remnants in the toilet bowl, and in the morning, quietly told the kids to leave Daddy alone, they would be going to Thanksgiving dinner without him. He then called his friends to gloat, said he had the clicker in his hand and was so happy. - EXreaction, on 11/21/2007, -1/+1If those are the only deals you can find, you haven't been looking hard enough.
- MiDri, on 11/21/2007, -3/+3Some of you have to work, so we can shop -- I know sucks right? Get an education, or if you have an education and are still working -- I hope you're getting holiday pay.
- EXreaction, on 11/21/2007, -1/+1That list helps if you know what you are looking for...but what if you are just looking until you find something interesting?
- dealcatcher, on 11/21/2007, -2/+2Or you can goto http://tgiblackfriday.com and actually search a view pics of products. The site also uses the pricegrabbers API so you can compare prices with online stores for many of the items.
- phatphil, on 11/22/2007, -1/+1I'm sorting and removing the categories I don't care about such as Children's Clothing, Jewelry, all the ***** basically.
- abandonedhero, on 11/21/2007, -2/+1Thank you for not having enough memory.
- mzwaterski, on 11/21/2007, -2/+1Unless someone changed the note at the top of the spreadsheet, it appears that the credit is properly attributed. From the spreadsheet: "Although I did this to give back to the FatWallet and Slickdeals Communities, a few people have asked how to make donations for my time and effort. Should you have the desire to make a donation, they can be made via PayPal using the email address [removed]. Donations are not expected. Thanks for all your kind comments, akelnat."
- pressorv, on 11/22/2007, -1/+0Thanks for the link ;) so far the site's handling the load, and you guys have already doubled my monthly hits in a single day. lol
- diggduggDOOM, on 11/21/2007, -1/+0There is usually a very limited number of deep-discount Black Friday items available at any given store. Unless you plan on getting to the store very early to stand in the front of the line, your chances of getting the item you want is fairly slim. To do this with multiple stores, you would need one person for each store.
Some places will honor their Black Friday deals even if the item is not in stock, but that is rare and not advertised.
These deals serve one purpose only - get you into the store so you spend money on the stuff that is NOT deeply discounted. You're much better off finding competing offers online (which also often have limited quantities - but at least you're not packed in with the herd).
I will be sleeping late into the morning on Black Friday, but you all enjoy your consumer frenzy. - Goldennova, on 11/21/2007, -3/+2Why does the poster of this site stand in the cold waiting for deals? Is he not aware that there are newspapers and websites which tell you about what deals there are at what stores?
- ELCad, on 11/21/2007, -4/+3Try this one, I think it is the same:
http://presson.wordpress.com/2007/11/20/black-frid ... - airj1012, on 11/21/2007, -2/+1How is this suppose to be better? There are some many stores and different items on there it's impossible to go through what is good and what isn't. It's just basically a collection of all the deals in one file, lame/buried.
- jaskerzada, on 11/21/2007, -3/+2Sparta!!!!!!
- joepaterno, on 11/22/2007, -1/+0Yeah, because the html or xls link isn't good enough. But what about the Google fanboys?!?!?!? *****.
- movingto, on 11/21/2007, -2/+0this is not a good spreadsheet. what i want to know are what are the top deals. not comb though all of these.
- Vzylexy, on 11/21/2007, -5/+3Get in that ass, Larry!
