Better late than never: MySpace finally enables data sharing
arstechnica.com — MySpace has announced plans to actually make its social network play nice with others across the web, and pats itself on the back while doing so. Although loyal users will certainly welcome the changes, MySpace is certainly not the first to think of ways for its users to share data across websites.

- ssj2119, on 05/10/2008, -0/+1I am very intrigued to see how this will effect the internet.. I want to see how it works visually, myspace pages are pretty effed up visually as you can customize the ***** out of them (making them look tacky and slow to load)..importing/sharing that page on digg, how the heck will that look/work? Would you want your digg friends communicating with your Myspace people? I like having the separate communities to be honest... and, like the user said above, this is truly a privacy nightmare waiting to happen.. I'm not a fan of social networks for private use, though I can see a lot of "developments" arising from this..
