- one2gamble, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Barracuda Networks has some pretty cool people working for them, thats all I know.
They made a bet with a buddy of mine at a Sharks game last year and actually paid up, it was impressive. - wshs, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Do they still bounce messages to forged addresses by default? "The spam someone sent using your email address was blocked. Here's a copy!"
- nanboya, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1We use a Barracuda Networks 300 at work which, even though it's a open source-based appliance, is well worth the money with the managed services (active updating of spam filter conditions, response to new threats, etc.). For a busy network admin, having to manually manage yet another system just adds to the workload.
- cal0140, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1And IronMail (far superior, but the cost reflects it) runs on hardened BSD.
- BBeerB, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Barracuda mailgate appliances run on linux, true story.

- schestowitz, on 10/10/2007, -7/+1More paper for the arsenal. It's necessary but it's a TOTAL waste of time which shows that USPTO is TOTALLY out of control.

"-In other words, it's similar to the situation that would exist in the absence of IP--without all the effort and waste to get a bunch of flaccid scraps of paper."
