- stmiller, on 10/12/2007, -3/+64Only four total exclamation marks in title. Not enough. No digg.
- jayadelson, on 10/12/2007, -0/+49This is an rss service for your cell phone. Note there is no formal relationship with digg in any way.
- mackoid101, on 10/12/2007, -0/+11Ewww... MySpace
- cruelpupet, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9I just use http://www.pocketdigg.com/default.htm
No need to download anything. - csimpkins, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7I have Digg on my Google homepage, which translates quite nicely to my cellphone browser.
- tgumbel, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Or even better, go to http://digg.com/mobile
- Cytranic, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Let me know when I can "Digg" on my cellphone.
- davidirock, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5I've been using digg on my z520a since opera mini came out.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Umm, digg works fine with NetFront and I'm sure other mobile browsers as well.
- goat77, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4That seems oddly like a bug more than a feature.
"UP TO THE MINUTE HEADLINES....... that are several hours old." - wonginator1221, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6And what if you use verizon? (locked down like hell)
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3That's the link for Search. Here's the one for Digg front page: http://www.plusmo.com/badge/getblog.feed?id=56248
- t3hX, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Yeah, works fine with Blazer too.
- qpid, on 10/12/2007, -3/+6Eww needs registration
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I like Digg as much as the next person, but I dont need my cell phone going off every time a story hits the front page-I check digg frequently enough and I'm not going to lose sleep if I miss a story
- frouse, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4So does digg...
- thegoodknife, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2worst digg title EVER.
- inigomntoya, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Digg - but only because of the good information contained in the comments - not the crappy web app. they make you register for...
- zephc, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Lame: "Push" technology on cellphones. I don't need to read anything *that* badly.
- elbriano, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Thanks i didnt know about that. I tried the Plusmo thing and didnt like it cause it doesnt show the summary of the article.
- randomtangents, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1meh... I've been using the Google Mobile rendering engine for Digg.com for months.
It eliminates the objects/tables to format on the screen and even break it up into "bite size chunks" so the PDA/phone doesn't choke. - Vector713, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1^^^ what he said, i use the same thing. Google lets you put RSS feeds on your personalized home page, and they also have a special one just for cell phones. it's really cool.
- scotty588, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I use the same thing on my Treo 600 works perfectly with digg and almost any site I throw at it. Only thing that doesn't work is the digg spy but that’s understandable.
- culbeda, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Umm... Opera Mini anyone?
I can use digg, pocketdigg, diggdot.us or damn near any other site I want... - konspence, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2That would be a fun url to type in with a phone keypad. (the one in the description)
edit: apparently its a onetime download, oops - maseone, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1so you wanted it to guess your cell number?
- Zippo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Damn, not enough memory left on my phone... oh well, maybe on my next phone.
- payalnik, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Two words: Opera Mobile
- sleze, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1hmm...digg already takes forever to open on my 6MB cable modem. I wonder how slow it would be on my cell phone. no digg
- picaro, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I use this URL on for the default Verizon browser: < a href="http://wwww.google.com/gwt/n?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.digg.com%2F&hl=en&mrestrict=xhtml=&q=Digg">http://wwww.google.com/gwt/n?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.digg.com%2F&hl=en&mrestrict=xhtml=&q=Digg
- Leech, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1oh, man.. that's the post buster... who needs plusmo-***** with this nice and clean version?
pocketdigg.com is nice too.. - tyme, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Perhaps if we make an age requirement for posting on digg (18 and up?) we can rid ourselves of excessive punctuation.
- tavisjohn, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Why? I use http://www.google.com/ig as my homepage. Digg is on that... And google has a version of your homepage that works ON YOUR CELL or other wireless portable computing device!
- xistboi, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Uhhhhhh - You can do with with any RSS to HTML PHP script... Ill be more then glad to post a RSS to mobile HTML link if anyone wants it. Works with ANY RSS feed, including Digg. Too bad Plusmo is just trying to plug their product.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1If you want to use an Add to Plusmo link for your site or blog's RSS feed, here's their url structure:
http://www.plusmo.com/explore?feed=YOUR_FEED_URL_HERE
OR
just use an Add to Any button for all the other services users can add stuff to (Plusmo included):
http://www.addtoany.com/webmasters/ - AnttiT, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Adding to this discussion, I made a digg widget for WidSets a while back. WidSets service is free and it basically requires a Java MIDP 2.0 capable cellphone. For those looking for a mobile digg, feel free to check it out at http://www.widsets.com/ .
- BGOATdoughnut, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Same. Loll.
- viewsource, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2hmm, don't most cellphones come with a browser of some sort already? It's been a while since I haven't had a PDAPhone, but from what I rememberabout my previous phone-only-phones they could read text off a site, no?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2Regarding Opera Mini -- the cool thing about Plusmo is that it's asynchronous -- You can sync it whenever or on a schedule, so it's already there when you check it.
- clicster, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I like the digg search at this URL
http://www.plusmo.com/badge/getblog.feed?id=56249 - mrASSMAN, on 10/12/2007, -9/+5..who the hell reads digg on their cell phone? there are computers everywhere, no need to read digg on a 2 inch screen..
- infermon, on 10/12/2007, -7/+2It's a downloud. http://www.plusmo.com/badge/getblog.feed?id=56249
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -14/+6Correct! It's really nice. Just installed it. The Digg stuff works great. I also installed a "Cheap Gas Finder" and subscribed to Engadget and MySpace...
What is Digg?
The Digg Toolbar for Firefox lets you Digg, submit content, and keep track of Digg even when you're not on the Digg site. Download the official
