- tmvander, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Seems pretty lame to me. Why don't they just have people push a button instead? This doesn't seem like a good use of RFID. Unless you wish to capture video of a bunch of idiots waving a card around.
- PrayerNeeder, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1pointless. show that you're paying attention by swiping a credit card? and the reels - people clapping, and endless exercise? how long would that actually hold your attention? OK, an early (now 20 years old) Suzanne Summers exercise video might hold it for a bit, but aftert that, what?
- pmcall221, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1It doesn't sound very effective. It requires active audience participation to gauge attention. Passive means like tracking eye movement would be more effective.
- ripberge, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1This is a pretty dumb application of RFID. One of the biggest advantages of RFID over barcodes is that you don't need a "line of sight" from reader to transponder. As a result you should be able to eliminate the necessity of a human being manipulating a barcode into the read zone (think of the poor cash register clerk). This application forces people to do a lot of work...
- DellMan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I love the huge yellow bird in the picture.
- bradp, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Great read, but I think their URL sums it up... It's totally not going to work...
I read a much better idea for something like this on Kevin's site

Check his idea out, much more realistic... - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Wow! 166 diggs, made it all the way to the bottom of the front page...and I am only the 6th comment?
