good riddance digg! Enjoy the ad revenue. - roarkmeister, on 11/09/2009, -12/+36DDOS THOSE MOTHER *****! Informants in any situation are *****, but doing it to someone who hasn't hurt anyone other than some ethereal entity? You don't deserve a single drop of respect at that point.

- ryanonfire, on 11/09/2009, -4/+23BOYCOTT DRAGON AGE
- Shadic, on 11/09/2009, -0/+15Doesn't change the fact that they scrunch the comments for the dumb ad.
- rancor01, on 11/09/2009, -2/+16These Digg ads are completely of of control... This is the sort of crap that makes your users hate the advertisers and refuse anything to do with their product..
..Oh, wait.. Its EA. Yet another reason to hate them. - pwn247, on 11/09/2009, -1/+10Curse you, Digg! This is madness!
- Daerion, on 11/09/2009, -0/+8That sounds very interesting. Is there an article about that topic somewhere?
- WolfHook, on 11/09/2009, -1/+9I often wonder about these people that report this type of activity to the police. Murders, rapes etc. I can understand that, but a hundred people downloading software?
Who benefits here? Microsoft? Or do the people that reported it just get a pat on the head like a loyal dog?
I don't get it. - earlvanze, on 11/09/2009, -1/+9The police called. They said they didn't give a *****.
- kahoona1, on 11/09/2009, -2/+10Snitches get stiches.

- svendm, on 11/09/2009, -1/+6Lithuanian Police: "We'll get right on it!... As soon as we've solved every other crime in the country."
- deadpoetic333, on 11/09/2009, -0/+5I'm about to throw up from the ads, my eyes already hurt and now I can't read the comments because I have to squint like crazy to read them.
- mickstephenson, on 11/09/2009, -0/+5Careful Now!
- goffy59, on 11/09/2009, -1/+5Love thy neighbor turn him in, its called patriotism... /s
- ryanonfire, on 11/09/2009, -0/+4Yeah but if advertisers get even just a little sense that a certain ad is making people boycott their product they might think twice about putting up this *****.
- Ghostalker, on 11/09/2009, -2/+6"The site’s owner has said he will do everything he can to help the users if legal action is taken, and in turn has reported the anti-piracy outfit to the police."
Not as easy as they thought it would be, just sue a few users. I can't wait to hear how the site's owner sue them back for misuse of their site. - luftrofl, on 11/09/2009, -1/+5Such are the risks. If you're not willing to accept the risks, GTFO.
- Atario, on 11/09/2009, -0/+4http://digg.com/design/Who_on_Digg_hates_this
- LuckyASN, on 11/09/2009, -0/+4That's it, I'm not planning on buying this ***** game anymore.
- YawehsDead, on 11/09/2009, -0/+3nice. Thank you!
(be fair, its 2:40am here :) ) - Shadic, on 11/09/2009, -0/+3I use a Stylish site style thing for Digg (***** bright webpages), so I don't have to see the image itself..
But the whole "Comment box being squished to hell-and-back" thing is quite annoying. I thought Digg not having widescreen support was annoying enough. - TugOSpiegel, on 11/09/2009, -2/+5yeah...wouldn't their ip's show up on the lists as well?
- yessuz, on 11/09/2009, -1/+4lanva are stupid ***** from lithuania.
They "downloaded" the win7 from the same torrent site, they did "print screen" from utorrent LOL...
The download by itself is not a crime untill you agree or dissagree with the EULA :)
it will end with nothing...
The funniest thing is, that the guy says: "It might be the some of the 106 IPs we have forwarded to police is from another city, and police will be forced to forward this to other units....." LOL - Stoyanov, on 11/09/2009, -3/+6What I wonder is, do they not commit a crime, too, by starting to download the torrent, even if only to snatch the peer list? Also, the Digg ads suck.
- roarkmeister, on 11/09/2009, -0/+2Yes, I'm so terrible that society has decided to thumbs up me out of irony, and thumbs downed you to reinforce it. Perhaps I'm reading too much into this? Oh wait. That's you.
- verynegative, on 11/09/2009, -0/+2I was gonna rant about the snitches, but they came up short after seeing this ***** wallpaper. What the ***** is wrong with you digg? this ***** looks like myspace.
And no, I havent seen it before and im disgusted. - MacHarborGuy, on 11/09/2009, -0/+2umm, deadpoetic333, I don't think he wasn't talking about the ad.
- thizzlebot, on 11/09/2009, -0/+1It sucks because if this gets taken to court the punishment will be harsher than rape.
- inactive, on 11/15/2009, -0/+1What ads?
- InactiveUser, on 11/09/2009, -0/+1Yes yes, I have heard this somewhere. An Anti-Piracy Group Reports Torrent Site Users to the Police...
I must be getting old. - WolfDog, on 11/09/2009, -1/+2I like how the fine is only a couple hundred dollars.
Isn't that the price of Windows 7 anyway? - deadpoetic333, on 11/09/2009, -3/+4We are complaining that it's such a big ad that's way over extensive. I usually defend websites using ads, but this is just over the limit by far. Honestly, it's making it a lot hard to read the comments since my eyelids are super heavy at this point.
- artfiend77, on 11/09/2009, -1/+2***** that, this ad business is annoying, but God damn is Dragon Age ever good.
- MacHarborGuy, on 11/09/2009, -0/+1the "potential" crime may not specifically be the downloading, but the sharing of the file (in part of whole) back out via Bit Torrent.
Remember, when you download you also share it back, and most people who are in court over file sharing music are not there because of what they "downloaded", but rather what was shared back out. - RonniSR, on 11/09/2009, -0/+1"plus additional damages Microsoft’s lawyers may call for."
If they have been sharing and MS call for this i bet he will end up with a bill more like $100K - Beatmiser, on 11/09/2009, -2/+3Actually I quite love Dragon Age- it's not Bioware or EA's fault that Digg is patently ignoring what it's userbase wants. If you think this through the person you really should boycott is Digg.
No one is forcing Digg to use this intrusive wallpaper. Place blame where blame is due. - rancor01, on 11/09/2009, -0/+1err.. I meant "out of control"...
- Thesuit22, on 11/09/2009, -1/+1What *****
- freewara, on 11/23/2009, -0/+0Well, we have an answer to RIA:
http://digg.com/security/When_you_not_pirate_mp3s - marque12, on 11/09/2009, -3/+3that,s nice.
- tek69, on 11/09/2009, -1/+1GTFO is the best game show in hell, ever!
- Rell812, on 11/09/2009, -1/+1hey, I actually don't mind the Dragon Age ad.
The way everyone's been talking about it I expected some sort of flash monstrosity that hinders my Digg experience...not just some visually unpleasant background. I mean...all the content's still there, I can see and read everything just fine. There's no moving parts or sound...this isn't bad at all. So long as it doesn't become a regular thing I think I'm fine with Digg pulling in a few bucks from it. - IKORKYI, on 11/09/2009, -1/+1that sounds like something i've heard before, like the time I heard that Glenn Beck raped and murdered a young girl in 1990. I'm not sure if either are true, but at least the tough questions are being asked.
- linagee, on 11/09/2009, -1/+1What if they're not people at all, but some sort of botnet script that auto-seeds everything, all the time, in the background? Will they try to sue a script?
- tmyprod, on 11/09/2009, -3/+3You gotta fight
for your right
to piiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiirate
fix'd that for you - goomba323, on 11/09/2009, -1/+1Snitches get Trojans.
