You're basically saying that the person who uploaded the video would have never done so if they had not existed. Unfortunately if you sought a site to upload a video to (copyrighted) you would have done so whether or not they were there (Youtube and dozens of other sites give you the same means). Entrapment would be them coming to you and asking you to upload so and so copyrighted material and then arresting you when you did it. You uploading a copyrighted video on your own free will with them not asking you to is just bad luck on your part.
I agree this website is sick and copyright laws are ridiculous but this isn't illegal in any way (those crying entrapment, have you ever seen an undercover bust on people buying drugs or prostitutes? Since it is illegal to distribute the copyright materials without permission, however, if media defender has rights to the copyright, then it "should" not be illegal for them to recieve those materials, meaning if it you're not allowed to distribute the media, they are allowed to recieve it. And if they recieve, and store it on a server, and make it available for download. They are distributing the file, and if they do not have permission to do so, then they have done as much illegal stuff as you have. And if they do have permission, then by offering it to you to download, they have provided for you all the legality you need to acquire the file, since they have the right to distribute it. And that gives you the right to take it if they offer it.
