- cabazorro, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I'm trying to give up coffee! And they pull me back in!!
- chuckleslovakia, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Alright, I clicked submit, decided I wanted to change the wording and clicked stop. Decided to check my profile to see if I had submitted anyway and I had not. Thus I went ahead and posted it again, not realizing all I needed to wait a little while for the first one to go through.

- Aooogah, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0They had this stuff in National Geographic a few months ago, pretty awesome.
- prosinader, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0It may be old but it's the first time I've seen it. I don't like coffee, but there is something to be said for creativity. Cool pics!
- ra3ndy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0KIKI! That's truly badass.
- RandoFernando, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Check oout www.coffeegeek.com if you would like to know more.
- fordistumley, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Nice lion.
- cavicster, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Now I would be happy to pay $5 for a cup of that.
- facelessmanchs, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0these people have too much time on their hands....but it is cool...dugg
- Squeegee, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I love the creations. But how does one know those shapes were not
just made with the "smear" option in Photoshop? - ryan_merket, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0actually, latte art is pretty common in the US. Stop going to Starbucks, and go to a REAL coffee shop and chances are you will find the latte art... My girlfriend draws latte art and is very good at it... and yes, they do taste as good as they look.
- tellarite, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Yet another reason not to drink coffee. It's too beautiful as is!
- zenghost, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0coffee is yummy ^_^
- opennet, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0wow that really slaked my thirst for art tonight thatks coffee achievers!

The photos are from the Nederlands. Try looking at the titlebar - F20Z3N, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0page load was too slow, will have to check out later :(
- rompom7, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0i could go a coffee right about now...
- aznbond, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I'd pay double what I already pay for overpriced coffees if they looked like that.
- kyle2, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0they should have the firefox logo in one of them
- Dewars, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I saw this on the Food Network a few months ago. They have a competition where these coffee shop employees to make their best art work the fastest.
- MazeBot, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0wow, that's some great work, but i like my art to last a bit longer then a day, not a foto memory.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0wtf is creamer?
- Majdaa, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0i went to a restaurant in france, i got a chocolate crepe and they put black chocolate on the top, then they put some brown above it, then some white chocolate, and they make the same kinda thing out of it....good stuff
- cprior, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Head over to the good ol' usenet and enter the world of the folks at alt.coffee and you will soon learn why one of the most popular sites is correctly called "coffeegeeks"
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Tech and coffee go hand in hand. :)
- diggismycollege, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0and people say I have to much time on my hands!
- garagefighter, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0More coffee pictures.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/zinkr/sets/897996/ - lochness, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0That's Great Stuff. I had a ten minute conversation with my coffee merchant today about what beans I would try this week. I felt like a change from the East Timor Organic, so it was suggested to give the Sumatran Mandheling a whirl.
I cringe when people say "I'm just getting a coffee, you want one" as they reach for the jar of Nescafe'.
Not sure if I'll get any lions or seamonsters in the cup though :-) - ziffel, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Shouldn't this be called 'Amazing pictures of creamer' ?
- satellite360, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0by the time you have messed about making pretty pictures the coffee must be cold. dumb waste of time
- clarky, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Pretty cool to see this on digg as it was my job for the last few years. It took me about a year to teach myself how to pour a rosetta (the design features in the latte art section there) and another year to become really good at it.
As someone pointed out, check out coffeegeek.com to find out more about real coffee. - snapcase, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Cool.
- Viremia, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0would you really wanna drink something that looked like that?
- cool4u2view, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Not a coffee fan myself, but these are pretty cool. I wonder how long they stay looking like that...
- p014k, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Very old. No digg.
- cypher35, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0hot coffee?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0@ryan_merket:
"actually, latte art is pretty common in the US. Stop going to Starbucks, and go to a REAL coffee shop"
exactly my point. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0You people seriously need to get out more if you've never seen anything like this before. It's not exactly an ancient art, I used to work at a coffee shop and we would regularly use stencils or toothpicks to make patterns on the froth of cappucino's or head of a latte. All be it they're not as impressive as these pictures.
- ryan_merket, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Oh, and etching (what they are doing in the link) is frowned upon...
- compu73rg33k, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0That's pretty leet.
