- honeycut, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Google video terms of use says:
"you may not do any of the following:... ...take the results from the Site and reformat and display them, or mirror any portion of the Site on your Web site; or "meta-search" the Site." - amprancid, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I developed the original google downloader available to the masses. Even though the popularity was great, I decided against any further development on a google video specific tool because of the TOS violations.
The original: http://dev2.traxio.net/projects/googlevideo/
I imaging I'll leave it up for a bit and release the source in the upcomming week. As for putting videos on your pages, it is in direct violation of the TOS. There have been no word on any notifications from google at this time. If things get out of hand I'm sure there would be some sort of hint to the developers, but as for now public redistribution has been relatively quite. - apotropaic, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1So is this legal?! If I post a video on my website, will it go down when google fixes it? Or do they know about this and are ok with it?

- pbferrigan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Hi,
Thank you for digging my website.
Poil11 - Yes, just change 'autoplay=""' to autoplay="yes" I beleive this should do it.
Rainblood - I just updated the tool which allows you to automatically insert the code into MySpace. No coding needed!
AndyWirtanen - Thank you for the help.
Thank you,
Peter - amprancid, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0BTW, you can use flash in myspace. You just gotta use the right method...
- BloodShed, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I prefer youtube.com
- d2ncal, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Youtube.com does this, and they officially support embedding videos to the site/blog/myspace.
- CheapDigWannbe, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0hmmmm google downloader was around for a while... how is this different?
- andywirtanen, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0rainblood, MySpace does not allow the object tag. You need to change it to embed.
- taymar, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Any tought on how to get this into Xanga?
- rainblood, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0thanks andywirtanen
- Detour, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Myspace has a flash filter, so these won't work.
Even the "tinyurl" is filtered. lol. - monkeywork, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0no longer works - however google now offers code native to this:
http://blog.monkeywork.net/?p=153 - EmileVictor, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0mmm. Bookmarked. I want to be able to hotlink google videos though. XD
-e http://digg.mediahug.com/ - brucebeh, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0i think google should and could make the videos a higher quality. everyone has broadband nowadays. and google has the bandwidth/space for it anyways.
- resentment, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0You.
- JamesWilson, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0WHO THE ***** IS USING MYSPACE?
