- LouisCipher777, on 04/23/2009, -0/+8Thank god they are finally starting to look at this as what it is; kids being kids. Should there be punishment for it? ya, probably. Should young teens be turned into life-time sex offenders for what is a truly victimless crime? (it's hard to be the defendant when you are also the victim) NO, duh.
at least some people are starting to get with the program. - Topher06, on 04/24/2009, -0/+3OMG America, get over it, people have sex, move along.

How could "sexting" be considered illegal if it doesn't happen to involve let's say hardcore penetrative sex? or at least lewd display of genitals with legs spead apart and fingers pulling the labia apart and one's tongue hanging out?
Who's pulling the wool here?
If the only difference is a parental consent issue, why isn't it up to the parent to ground the culprit or revoke some privileges or maybe take their belt off for a woopin? Why is the state intruding into a parental discipline issue? - duggtodeath, on 04/24/2009, -1/+1White America up in arms with another moral panic? Methinks technology and health care have allowed the herd to become too fat. Time to thin it.
- inactive, on 04/24/2009, -1/+1When you have a kid, you will understand.
It's different when your 14 year old takes pictures that hit the chan/imageboards.
Many kids just lack the responsibility to have sex at that age. - TheBifman, on 04/24/2009, -1/+0Literally and figuratively yes?
