- canadianguy33, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Nice article Skitzzo but even if Digg allowed the 'dugg' sites to use the comments they still have a problem getting listed above Digg in the serps because of Google's duplicate content, pagerank and indexing algorithm.
Also, I can understand why some site owners don't like digg coming up above them in the serps but it seems kind of like a 'I-want-to-have-my-cake-and-eat-it-too' situation because the fact remains that having links to your site on digg does help with serps. - Skitzzo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Candadianguy, the link certainly helps but maybe not for long (http://www.seorefugee.com/forums/showpost.php?p=44049&postcount=27).
Google would definitely have to change the way they currently are doing things for Digg to come up under most sites. But, I think with the social bookmarking niche exploding, they need to make the change now rather than wait until those sites are all you see in the result pages. - Skitzzo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Lol thanks. I guess you like the article?
I wonder how Digg would react if Google placed their listings under the sites that it links to... would be interesting for sure.

What is Digg?
