All the joints work... it mirrors the man's intended actions... and it looks like the technology is at the point where it can basically be applied now, which is truly stunning. Just slap on a battery pack and the arm bands, and you have a hand. I can't wait to see what happens over the next few years! Add some sensory feedback, a smaller power source... we're very close to opening up an entire new world of bio-mechanics!

This would allow robots to have more fluid like and natural movement and would also make equipment that uses hydraulics lighter but stronger. Such technology could be used to make an exo-frame for paraplegics to wear that would give them back their mobility or to create artificial hands which are as strong as real ones. Bionics any? Anywho, I can see sex as the first application of Aiko. Its from the sex toy industry that he'll likely see some real money flow in, if he's smart and he certain seems like he is he'll approach one such company and develop a Aiko android that can do everything he wants her to be able to do AND function as a sex android. He be so rich he'd have virtually unlimited funds to improve up on the design and technology to make Aiko more realistic and smarter.
