- Weezer1223, on 02/23/2008, -10/+180Picture caption: Digg founder, Kevin Rose, watches his submission die a slow and painful death.
- sockpuppets, on 02/23/2008, -18/+156Who's Kevin Rose?
- IvanB, on 02/23/2008, -12/+126The algorithm has really been insane lately.
- gds923, on 02/23/2008, -4/+86Interesting analysis. I suppose this is evidence that the new algorithm has leveled the playing field amongst digg users. In principle, I think this is a good thing; however, realistically, it seems that the quality of top stories has fallen slightly and they are less "ahead of the curve" then they were in the past.
- BetterThanYou, on 02/23/2008, -1/+80Geez even Kevin Roses failures are better than my best submissions. I'm lucky if I even get 5 diggs :(
- nowsourcing, on 02/23/2008, -6/+76could Kevin get this story on the front page?
- verusdies, on 02/23/2008, -11/+78This is stalking at it's finest. Why would one devote the time and prove this? Get a ***** life!
- Zihuatanejo, on 02/23/2008, -7/+72I really don't think Kevin Rose gives a ***** if his submissions make the front page.
- arbouler, on 02/23/2008, -3/+58did that blog really analyze kevin rose's posts? does he have a crush on him or something? what a nutty stalker.
i dont understand the bashing/ loving towards that dude. it's like, he's the online version of celebrities fans like to idolize/ criticize or something. - str3ama, on 02/23/2008, -3/+57Great idea for a post, its like the question "Could god microwave a burrito so hot that even he couldn't eat it without getting scalded?"
- rejectnation, on 02/23/2008, -18/+72Who is Kevin Rose, anyway?
:P - smacksaw, on 02/23/2008, -3/+49When this article makes it to the front page, all 6 of his articles mentioned in this article will be on the front page, yo.
- sockpuppets, on 02/23/2008, -2/+36Kevin puts the lotion on his skin or else he gets dugg down again.
- sockpuppets, on 02/23/2008, -1/+33if you were a burrito stranded on a desert island would you eat yourself?
- SonicRush, on 02/23/2008, -1/+33By the title, I was expecting a funny article about how boring some of his submissions were. I'm dissapointed.
- redsfaithful, on 02/23/2008, -8/+36Editor decisions have been weird lately too. I have seen a ton of stories go to the front page well after the standard 24 hours are up.
- HenvY, on 02/23/2008, -9/+33Everybody go digg them - let's get all these stories on the front page now and restore this guys faith in Kevin Rose.

- newstart, on 02/23/2008, -6/+29I am really not concerned about Kevin Rose and the 1% drop in his popularity. I am more concerned about Brian Zafron and his stupid blog articles. Doesn't this guy have any life of his own? Going through Kevin's Submission rates as if this was something the world really cares about. Just face it dude, to get Kevin's name on your blog so people can click your pathetic ads you made Kevin your internet superhero. Nothing personal, though :)
- robotosaurus, on 02/23/2008, -1/+23 I think he wrote the song Never Gonna Give You Up.
- xyqxyq, on 02/23/2008, -3/+24There is no 24-hour window of any sort.
- TobiasParker, on 02/23/2008, -3/+24This is retarded.
- silvanov2002, on 02/23/2008, -2/+22Not sure yet whether its quality or quantity thats lacking since the algorithm change, but something is definetly different.
- crinzema, on 02/23/2008, -6/+26Leave Kevin Alone!!!!!!! His website is called digg for a reason, because all you people is DIGG DIGG DIGG!!!!
- apochcrypha, on 02/23/2008, -2/+20The problem is that it creates more disgruntled Digg users. If you can't get your story to front page, you lose all motivation to submit stories, Digg stories, etc. Most of my time is spent in Digg's comments system because you people are interesting to converse with, I honestly don't care about Digg's mechanisms/algorithms that much.
- thcobbs, on 02/23/2008, -1/+18In just what way?
- bat-21, on 02/23/2008, -1/+17HE'S JUST A HUMAN!
- otis12, on 02/23/2008, -4/+19Lets face it, all diggers are *****.
- brentinkc, on 02/23/2008, -2/+16Man, you gotta find a way to chill the ***** out. It's a website. Smoke a joint maybe? Have a laugh, read some news, chill out.
- dondara, on 02/23/2008, -0/+12As an *****, I would have to agree with you, *****.
- Locke23, on 02/23/2008, -1/+12Am i the only one that finds it ironic that this is about to make front page?
- brentinkc, on 02/23/2008, -2/+13Don't jerk me around, Norm! It's a simple question! A baby could answer it! If you were a burrito, and you were starving, would you eat yourself?
Cubs win! - GreenAlien, on 02/24/2008, -1/+12Kevin's posts didn't make it to the front page, but a post about Kevin's posts made it to the front page. Kevin wins eventually.
- Rileyper, on 02/23/2008, -7/+18crocker!!! is that you
- rhabd0mancer, on 02/23/2008, -6/+16The Ronbot spammers are having difficulty getting their spam to the front page.
- Aidenf77, on 02/23/2008, -5/+15It's all part of a conspiracy to enhance Kevin's (and therefore Digg's) public image. I saw so many comment complaints using his 100% golden popularity as evidence that Digg's algorithm was broken, that it wouldn't surprise me if he had his secret moderators hold a few of his recent (non important) submissions back from the front page on purpose! Oh, and 911 was orchestrated and executed by the Bush Administration, we never really landed on the moon, and the CIA was definitely responsible for the Kennedy assassination.
- stateofdreams, on 02/24/2008, -2/+12Axel Rose's brother....so I've heard...
- SDL486, on 02/23/2008, -4/+13This article makes me want to eat a hamburger.....
- nathron, on 02/23/2008, -1/+10dildoolielly is one of those guys that does the annoying, dr.evil-style quotation mark thing with his fingers when he's talking to you, isn't he?
- str3ama, on 02/23/2008, -2/+11sounds like an ad.
- skunkman62, on 02/24/2008, -1/+10wrong! it was called digg.com because the URL submitanapplestoryanditwillautomaticallyreachthefrontpage.com was taken
- OfficeSpacing, on 02/23/2008, -1/+10Why is this important? Digg is democratic news, so obviously if a famous persons articles aren't being promoted the system is working.
What's the deal, yo? The deal is that not every Kevin Rose article should be popular just because he's Kevin Rose. - TekTrixter, on 02/23/2008, -0/+8 I knew it! I'm surrounded by *****! Keep firing *****!
- sockpuppets, on 02/23/2008, -5/+13Anytime someone says algorithm I think of a guy named Al dancing.
I know, I'm strange. - wright3279, on 02/23/2008, -9/+17If you read digg enough, you can't help but notice the very liberal bias. Any story from Fox News for example, only appears, it seems, so that it can be ridiculed. And most atrocities committed in the Muslim world, well, to report on them would be Islamophobia! And 1st it was all Ron Paul and now the love fest is on Barak. My 2 cents worth.
- paddyosmith, on 02/23/2008, -3/+11lesson for kevin rose - put "kevin rose" in your title submissions and bingo, you are dugg.
- masterm1nd, on 02/23/2008, -0/+7Cheaper and better. Success?
- inactive, on 02/23/2008, -1/+8i wonder if this hits the front page...
