- Matt2k, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I am totally defying the laws of the Inter Nets by visiting these on-line the W.W.W.s!
- imdamaverick, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Writely sounds like the coolest one that i've never heard of www.writely.com
It would be perfect if you wanted to write a paper at the library or even Best Buy, haha - overkil6, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1"error inserting user (engine.php) Duplicate entry '32767' for key 1"
Digg effect? - Matt2k, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1> However digg seems to have inherited from slashdot the rude spelling/grammer Nazis that lead to a bunch of pointless posts.
Yes, its true, but I think everyone here is picking on the OP in good fun. We understand what they meant.
But good spelling is typically a characteristic of a well-thought-out post. You really don't see philosophical dissertations written in IM-speak, for example. - Elfboy26, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I love digg over slashdot becasue the user promotes the stories. However digg seems to have inherited from slashdot the rude spelling/grammer Nazis that lead to a bunch of pointless posts.
- nostrich, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I'll defiantly check these out.
- thejam, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Oh cool, I think I've heard of this Digg thing ...
- Sirocco, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4The next jackass who describes a website as being "Web 2.0" gets shot.
- sjors, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Pandora is using OpenLaszlo by the way, one of the best opensource products to build Rich Internet Applications. I use it for over a year and i am still amazed that there is such a small community. OpenLaszlo is maybe one of the best samples that opensource non-commercial
- whizzbang, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Meebo absolutly rocks, freeing a load of people from locked down computers. They are going to be big so long as:
a) companies don't start blocking it
b) they figure out how to make money from it. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Whom are we defying by knowing about these websites?
- jessejoedotcom, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0
- Donnap2l, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Great List
- super2003, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0You should check out www.inods.com which I read about recently. Very cool to find reviews for a range of things.
Meebo is really cool but I hope their interface improves oon. - Capand, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I'll give you one website you should "defiantly" know about...
www.dictionary.com - emitflesti, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0 "rude spelling/grammer Nazis"
Are you being facetious? The only grammer I know is a little town in Indiana.
Rudely,
Heinrich "That's with 2 Hs" Himmler - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0hmm not hte best list

till the digg effect dies.... and rest assured i will not slam you for your
spelling... i am pooped too. thanks - gnbenson, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Why did this story disappear from the front page? It has over 2000 diggs. Is there a way to find these missing stories? Search doesn't work. And if you do find them, there is no indication they were pulled...
- senfo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0error inserting user (engine.php) Duplicate entry '32767' for key 1
Somebody get too many hits? - en3r0, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Good list, herd of most of them but worth a look.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0this idiot forgot a site: YouTube.com

- Kitsune818, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0No digg.. Web 2.0 and "Digg vs. Slashdot" argument on same page. ++ungood.

- compn, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0just ***** link to google and post the 10 websites in the comments. or use coral cache...
- Odwalla, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0> However digg seems to have inherited from slashdot the rude spelling/grammer Nazis that >lead to a bunch of pointless posts.
Your point is valid except that this wasn't a simple spelling or grammatical error. It was a word substitution that changed the meaning of the sentence to one that was entirely nonsensical. - jayhawk785, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This was on top of it for a bit lol
Digg users please don't digg this article. My server wants to live... thanks
error inserting user (engine.php) Duplicate entry '32767' for key 1 - sokz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"anyone else getting
"error inserting user (engine.php) Duplicate entry '32767' for key 1"?"
you bet I am - spark, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0anyone else getting
"error inserting user (engine.php) Duplicate entry '32767' for key 1"? - shadowsurfr1, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0It's quite nice that meebo got in there but I think digg should've been higher than number 4.
- spyres, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0----Why the ***** doesn't Digg have an "un-digg" option? This site isn't even up.
Er, it does. Go to your profile screen and un-digg it. - runbmd, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I feel very defiant now that I know about these.
- MrMysterious, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0pandora is sweet
- unsavory, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Hmmm... this list is missing one very important product called Rallypoint. Rallypoint is similar to Writely except it has a lot of additional features for group collaboration. It is definitely geared toward small businesses and groups, but worth taking a look at if you need an online collaborative app. Also has a lot of really slick AJAX.
http://www.rallypointhq.com - antoni, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0omg thanks a lot for the list, now i got no time to do anything lol
- jervana, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0not a big fan of lists like these, since they're pretty much subjective.
BUT i found two music sites that are really cool, especially the last one.
awesome - squenix1221, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0meebo.com is great...i use it at school a lot or other places where an IM client isnt already installed or you cant install programs to the computer
- RevnCliffie, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0doh Ok I give up
- robert3, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Looks like a list recently published over at TechCrunch.
- Lazybones, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Damn meebo is cool.. Can't wait for them to expand it more.
- tamarind, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Then the web devolved into lists of links to lists of links. The end.
