- diggsIt, on 10/12/2007, -0/+27Tried it. Now, I'm virtually broke.
- animalmuther76, on 07/30/2008, -2/+25You mean an education like understanding the difference between Europa a small moon orbiting Jupiter or Europe an unimportant long forgotten continent
- xtoph, on 10/12/2007, -8/+24Digg him down, and block him if you like, but why is it always somebody's first instinct to post a phone number and ask the community to attack a person in their real life?
- macjonesnz, on 10/12/2007, -8/+22Maybe an email would be cheaper than a call ? .... lets all Help James get famous ! jamesschiavello@gmail.com
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+16What a crock! Everyone of these "ways of making money online" is a crock of *****. I can make more money working at McDonald's than these online economical "solutions".
Heres a better way of making money "while online". Get a mall kiosk or late night security job and surf the internet to educate yourself about the REAL world economy while getting paid by the hour to do so.
I don't advise anyone quiting their day job for any one of these suggested "ways of making money online".
How the hell did this crap make it on Digg?! - gwendal, on 10/12/2007, -1/+15Between the free collaborative movement like wikipedia, blogging or p2p and the traditional company remunerative jobs, there is a not-so-well-understood world, which is partially described here. Skills seem to be actually the best way to make money : skills for blogging, skills for photography, skills for organizing... If education is still the best way to acquire skills, and if we consider that people from the "old world" (including Europa and North America) are far more educated than others, then it is possible to be optimistic about the "old world" !
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+12#1. The problem with things like "RentACoder" is that you're competing against people who will code for less than you would make working at Starbucks.
#6. "Life Coaching" is the biggest scam to come about in recent years. It's like paying a friend to give you bad or incomplete advice... Basically it's un-licensed psychiatry.
#10. See #1. If it takes you 8 hours of gaming to make $50 in real currency, you might as well have a real job and get out of the house. - DriverDan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+11They ARE Ponzi schemes and are illegal. Most of them are so small and low key that they close down long before any law enforcement gets wind of them. All of the big ones are run by one Russian organized crime syndicate. They DDoS attack sites run by competitors. Almost all of them shut down before paying out a positive balance so you end up losing your money. Don't waste your time, they're all scams.
- etandrib, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1013. Have someone post your story to digg on how to make money online
Hey! Wait a minute… - shark615, on 10/12/2007, -4/+13Because they are losers and if they want to put themselves out there by posting crap then they open themselves up for this sort of attack and they only have themselves to blame.
- AkiraXXX, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8Or make lots of top ten lists sure to generate insightful conversation and loads of ad hits. 'Cuz let's face it folks, there are still LOTS of places yet to put advertising (I'm working on ways to put ads on my eyelids and my tongue). Now if you'll excuse me, I have to jump around and say stupid ***** so everyone notices me.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+9"write for pay" is whoring when it gets to politics and affecting people's lives under a boss that dictates the propaganda of the day.
- pcgeek101, on 10/12/2007, -3/+711. Trade stocks and futures
- Lewie, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4I actually made a decent profit from one due to a decimal error. It was pretty sweet! I was surprised how many people threw thousands (sometimes $20K!!) into this HYIP that already had signs of trouble. A fool and his money are soon parted.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go find a few thousand fools... - ts8lemonade, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5It's been my life long dream to become a gold farmer.
- sv650touring, on 10/12/2007, -3/+7James,
Your cheesedick marketing technique is not really worth your time here. You snatched up a pretty good domain name for a song, and you put it in EVERY digg comment you make. As far as I can tell, you get totally buried every time - save for the one digg article about snatching up domain names. You got +1.
You, sir, are becomming a common spammer. It's not too late to turn back. - childprey, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Because that involves learning to write bad poetry and investing in emo glasses.

- skytimelapse, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2"2. Sell photos on stock photography sites."
Ahem... unless you are a really (really) awesome still photographer, good luck making any real money at the only sites that will pay royalties to anyone for their digicam images. istockphoto charges the client like a dollar per image and your take is a portion of that. So... good luck with that. - kanopener, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Just trying to promote my site. I didn't think it was spam if it was relevant to the article. I got more visits than ever posting my comment on this article. Hey my website is not everyones cup of tea, but I have got a huge positive response from it, and the word is getting around. Those people who tried to spam my personal email address, and posted my phone number up, you must have to much time on your hands get a life. Good, bad any publicity is publicity... Which improves my search engine rankings.
- kleepklop, on 05/01/2009, -0/+2or, you could stop spamming
- patcarling, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Some of these were already covered in a front page digg a few days ago: http://www.experienced-people.co.uk/1042-top-ways-of-making-money-online/
- lewhich, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Developers STAY AWAY FROM elance.com (It's BS)
- Asmundur, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I look forward to reading this article when the background has been changed to white.
- aamer, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2WTF is up with the font color. This site is barely readable.
- Optic7, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2No kidding! The darn thing is illegible in Firefox 1.5. Dark grey background with very slightly lighter grey text. :-(
- zai-asal, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Blah, what a ***** designed site, light text-dark background(or the alternate). Not two similar colors for both, what an ass clown.
- esourcemag, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I see allot of complaints about this story... so why does it have 1700+ diggs? maybe because some of it is true. Blog network, life coach, selling stock photos, and providing service for open source software are great ways to get going if you know what your doing and your willing to put allot of work into it.
If this came from TechCrunch, would it have so many bad remarks? Would you believe that the original author of TechCrunch is doing the blog network and providing service for software thing? Would you believe that a few sites that get dugg here on Digg do 2 or more on that list most people here or putting down?
Haterzzz... - KirbyKhan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Stanley: I had the same problem as well. Try and refresh, it cleared everything up for me.
- etjazz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go find a few thousand fools..

No problem, this is digg - you're surrounded by them
In fact, you'll find heaps of basketcases here: http://digg.com/general_sciences/15_Answers_to_Creationist_s_Evolutionary_Rebuttals - esourcemag, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I don't think its worthless... it is spam, but its not worthless. Then again, wordpress just introduced a way to have people digg your stories... so I think Digg is about to have a big debate on what is spam and what is a good story that you wrote that is submitted by you.
- stanleypane, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Wow... It's hard to believe this site got so many Digg's and is barely readable. Perhaps it's because I'm at work and have an older CRT, but... The text is a shade or two lighter than the background?
I wouldn't head advice from anyone ignorant enough to display it in such a manner. - cikale, on 02/23/2009, -0/+1Or make lots of top ten lists sure to generate insightful conversation and loads of ad hits. - lucas131, on 12/02/2007, -0/+1Great ways to make money online!
- Shneebly, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I wasn't spamming. It's an article about how to make money online, and I saw nobody had mentioned it, so i did. It's not like I was trying to shove anything down your throat. It's not a scam anyway. It's a completely legit WAY TO EARN MONEY ONLINE. *points to title of article*
Learn the difference between what's spam and what isn't before you go and digg me down - Pakblogger, on 02/05/2009, -0/+1I am using non of them at http://www.pakblogger.com/ but let me stick with getting traffic at the moment and then we will go for money

- planner5, on 01/27/2009, -0/+1How to Make Money Online
Many of us are trading time for money. Many of us have pursued dreams of online success that ended in failure. Many of the so-called guru’s don’t give you enough detail to make it online. Here is a simple and honest program where anyone with a little desire can make money online; And you don’t even need a website!
1. Find Affiliate Product
o Find a product to promote where you make good commission on each sale. Generally, you will get the biggest commissions on digital products. Digital products are defined as something that is downloaded directly to a customer's computer after purchasing, like electronic books or software. Since there is no extra cost per unit, no inventory and no shipping, the commissions are much greater than on regular "physical" goods. The most common commission on digital products is 50%.
o Sign up for an affiliate membership site. This will allow you to build a residual income and the retention rate is much higher than just selling a product once and getting paid.
o Sign up as a reseller (also called affiliate) for a product that looks the most appealing to you. After you sign up, you will get a unique affiliate link where you need to send people to purchase the product. Your affiliate link will have a special code that will tell the product owner that it's you who referred the customer. The affiliate link code will allow your commissions to be tracked correctly and assigned to you.
2. Get Domain Name
o Get a domain name to redirect to your affiliate link. A domain name is a .COM name (like yourproduct.com). You can get it for under $9 at GoDaddy.com. GoDaddy.com will allow you to redirect your domain name to your affiliate link at no extra cost. It's important to note that unlike having your own website you don't have to pay for hosting which is usually more expensive than buying and registering a domain name. Domain forwarding allows you to have a legitimate presence in the world of online affiliate marketing for only a few dollars! Some affiliates offer mentoring and training to assist you in your pursuit of making money online. For example http://MaverickMoneyMkr.com is a popular site. - Rockstarsid, on 12/09/2008, -0/+1Why do you want to invest money every time in hosting, domains to make money ??
