What was your first, astronomically speaking! Posts Wanted!

blogs.discovermagazine.com — Help out an astronomy educator! Mine was, Da-Moon! Now, I curse it =-) Seriously, it was the moon that hooked me, but DSO ’s are what I enjoy now! I was out just last night with my 10″ F/5 Dob looking at a couple of really faint Globular Clusters in Del - the moon mucks up the skies too much for good faint fuzzies.

  • starmanjones, on 07/04/2008, -0/+1moon. i remember going to a star party in scouts and the scout master was wondering why they would have a star party if the moon wasn't full. i felt really smart when i told him that the best place to see anything is right around the terminator and that we should get a good look at the sea of tranquility.
