- j3one, on 10/18/2007, -1/+19take a survey? um, no.
- arichard, on 10/19/2007, -1/+17Galactic cannibalism sounds way cooler than it is :-(

What? - NCSUspoon, on 10/19/2007, -0/+93 Billion year until we collide. Guess that throws my plans of being frozen in carbonite and being stored down the drain.
- misterjangles, on 10/18/2007, -2/+9Dude.. like what if, scattered throughout our solar system are thousands of tiny black holes, each about the size of an atomic nucleus? And they, like totally affect space-time differently because of their close association with a fifth dimension! Dude, I am freaking out!
- inactive, on 10/18/2007, -1/+7I read some ***** about the fifth dimension and closed my browser. Then everything was fine again.
- ragingbull13, on 10/18/2007, -1/+6survey? no kidding, what a ***** site. plus most of that data is really old. worst dig ever.
- qpn6ph9q, on 10/18/2007, -0/+4Lame lame lame. The pictures are crappy the text is even worse and what really tears my colon is that stupid MSNBC wizard thing. Put it all on one page FFS, or at least print some cards and give them away in boxes of cereal to 5 year old's. (Am I in a bad mood today.)
- tucktan, on 10/18/2007, -0/+4agreed
- Woaz, on 11/01/2007, -0/+4Naked Singularities should be up there. The concept is bloody awesome. ;o
- swanny89, on 10/18/2007, -2/+6Yeah! ***** learning something interesting! Ignorance is strength!
- Ngai, on 10/18/2007, -0/+3The hidden power of the brain...
- nlevend, on 10/18/2007, -0/+3Well, just earlier today I just happened to be reading up on the Milky Way and astrosociobiology and the collision of Andromeda and the Milky Way was mentioned, but it said that it'd only form a new elliptical galaxy, no superhuge collisions of individual stars and systems...
so you might be ok in your carbonite, whatever that is... - shenfrancisco, on 10/18/2007, -0/+3How about this: Space Sunset...
http://www.linkinn.com/_Space_Sunset_pic-chirica - sleeknerve, on 10/18/2007, -0/+3so does the big bang and dark matter, well, i guess you could make a case for the big bang
- Viva43, on 10/18/2007, -1/+3Eww.
MSNBC. - ScottoGato, on 10/18/2007, -0/+2mmmmmmmm. Galactic cannibalism.
- Pogojoe, on 10/18/2007, -0/+2Space in general is strange.
- altidude, on 10/18/2007, -0/+1If I have to page through this link to see these ten items I'm gonna...... FUUUUCK!!! I knew it. And a new banner ad on each page, what a ***** surprise that is. Thank god for AdBlocker+ and Firefox. Thank you baby Jesus.
- chumpbuster, on 10/18/2007, -0/+1Dugg up for Half-Life 2: Episode 2 Gnome reference.
- inactive, on 10/18/2007, -0/+1there are strange surveys in interspace ... spooky!
- imdeanlabouty, on 10/18/2007, -1/+2Don't forget chrono-synclastic infundibula.
- jpt62089, on 10/18/2007, -0/+1I'm so glad that we haven't found anti-time yet! O.O
- xero69, on 10/18/2007, -0/+1Lol, the pictures associated with the anti-matter article reminds me of a big space dildo.
- Icefreez, on 10/18/2007, -0/+1LawL @ MSN for not having working page numbers in Firefox.
- DonJohnTom, on 10/18/2007, -1/+2number 11? a spork
- zonk3r, on 10/18/2007, -0/+1"Top 10 strangest things in space"
How about all the TV we've been broadcasting into space for the past century? There's some damned strange stuff right there... - inactive, on 10/18/2007, -0/+1"..that we know of" i guess. i don't think it covers aliens with 4 tails that may exist.
- Sornos, on 10/18/2007, -0/+1Don't forget the Harmoniums of Mercury.
PS Come on Digg, it's a classic! Some of you must recognize it. - qpn6ph9q, on 10/18/2007, -0/+1Even though stars and planets may not actually collide, the gravitational interaction of the two cores (supermassive black holes) of the Milky Way and Andromeda will quite likely shunt half of both galaxies out into deep space. And, if the black holes were ever to crash head on, then goodbye to both galaxies.
- JimSartor, on 10/21/2007, -0/+1Why didn't they mention Russell's Celestial teapot?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russell's_teapot - pailsOfGrease, on 11/01/2007, -0/+1...a decent pickup line if you can say it like Antonio Banderas. Before she throws her drink on you, quickly add: "When the outer.. and *inner* ...event horizons merge... they shrink-- towards the rotating singularity... and suddenly EXPOSE IT to the rest of the universe."
...leave out the 'bloody concept' part, though. Total buzzkill. - AndrewMayne, on 10/18/2007, -1/+1"The fleeting particles endow every cubic centimeter of space with a certain energy that, according to general relativity, produces an anti-gravitational force that pushes space apart. "
Granted, I'm kind of ignorant, but I've never heard of this being tied into general relativity. - teletoes, on 10/18/2007, -2/+2Thought it was going to be about top secret satellites and orbiting space junk.....
Didnt take the survey..
Buried in the black hole behind Uranus. - wawrullz, on 10/18/2007, -0/+0finget cots? c'mon now it cant be just finger cots
- unamas, on 10/18/2007, -2/+2i dunno, this seems to be pretty strange to me...
http://tinyurl.com/2xhy9k - inactive, on 10/19/2007, -1/+1All this smart talk and learnin' is hurtin' my brain! Why can't you just understand that this was all created by god and leave it at that?
- ttfnRob, on 10/18/2007, -1/+1Mine are better!
http://orbitingfrog.com/blog/2007/07/25/the-10-str ... - inactive, on 10/18/2007, -2/+1You must have faith in the Anti-Gravity.
- garyoxford, on 10/18/2007, -1/+0Thank for the information.
At least today i learn 10 10 strange things in the world.
There are still many strange things out there. - romistrub, on 10/18/2007, -2/+1I'm not a fan of pretending that "space" is somehow different from Earth. Seems like a very ... outdated ... perspective.
- Brewdaddy, on 10/18/2007, -3/+2Is anyone else annoyed that 98% of this stuff is speculation portrayed as mysterious fact? For example, number 2 on the list: we can't explain why the universe is accelerating in its expansion, so we just state that "empty space is a bubbling brew of 'virtual' subatomic particles that are constantly being created and destroyed" which produce anti-gravity. Come on.
- ndoherty13, on 10/19/2007, -3/+1You were told right:
http://digg.com/space/Second_Earth_found_20_lighty ... - colouredlights, on 10/19/2007, -4/+1Digg this guy up!
- andrewcsayer, on 10/19/2007, -10/+6High Definition. It's in our DNA.
- inactive, on 10/19/2007, -6/+1Why don't you people check out my lone submission and digg it up?

What is Digg?
