    When I was about 12, my friend and his family brought me camping in Maine. One night, his parents were up late and aurora was visible. My friend's father suggested that they wake us so we can witness this once in a lifetime event... but his mom told him to let us sleep. We weren't old enough to appreciate it... I'm still pissed at her. 9 years later.
