- Mizzike, on 06/05/2009, -0/+22Beautiful... but I still haven't seen these in person on the ground. One of these days. :)
- MacBookForMe, on 06/05/2009, -8/+24Crazy & surreal...could you imagine how all those alines out there may envy our beautiful & endlessly blue planet...???
- themastersb, on 06/05/2009, -3/+17Good thing we have that Halo guy. eh fight those alines and doesn't afraid of anything.
- Leonffs, on 11/20/2009, -1/+14Well, realistically, if aliens, or 'alines' exist, they probably live on remarkably similar planets.
- ozziedog, on 06/05/2009, -0/+12I didn't know that color roughly follows the height of the aurora (red on top, green on bottom) and I didn't know they were so close to us. What a different perspective can tell you.
- toekneebullard, on 06/05/2009, -0/+12I said something along those lines on digg once, something about wanting to see them before I die. People ragged on me. Guess it's pretty easy if you just visit the northern US.
None the less, I wanna see 'em. - bulgingbritches, on 06/05/2009, -0/+12Looks like our shields are taking a hit. More power Scotty!!
- dicer999, on 06/05/2009, -6/+17No.
- jrm125, on 06/05/2009, -0/+9That's beautiful!

#1 - #4 via http://chamorrobible.org/gpw/gpw-20050129.htm and #5 via http://chamorrobible.org/gpw/gpw-200702.htm - xB4R7x, on 06/06/2009, -0/+7True story:
When I was about 12, my friend and his family brought me camping in Maine. One night, his parents were up late and aurora was visible. My friend's father suggested that they wake us so we can witness this once in a lifetime event... but his mom told him to let us sleep. We weren't old enough to appreciate it... I'm still pissed at her. 9 years later. - chupavacas, on 06/05/2009, -0/+7Very cool. Also very blurry.
- rentdn, on 06/05/2009, -0/+7Pity that I'm so far away from northern US :(
- L4Flare, on 06/05/2009, -0/+5Looks so awesome! I would love to see this from space, but my dreams of being an astronaut were dashed away at the tender age of 7 when a deer ate my right leg. Apparently you need one of those to become an astronaut :-/
- osuivan, on 06/05/2009, -0/+5I thought he meant from space. *shrugs*
- had3l, on 06/05/2009, -2/+7Like most diggers, I live with hope that one day I'll see a pussy.
- lolmax, on 06/05/2009, -1/+6dont forget, you are part of space. we are fascinating
- hakkola, on 06/05/2009, -2/+7I'll probably get dugg down for this, but those are some pretty ***** pictures. I'd like to see them in higher resolution, until then, I prefer my view from the surface.
- orlyfactor, on 06/06/2009, -0/+4Don't put the pussy on a pedestal!
- drgmdp, on 06/06/2009, -1/+5like russia

- CaptCarrot, on 06/08/2009, -0/+3I dated an Aline once. She wasn't much into astronomy, but we had great chemistry.
- brandnewx, on 06/06/2009, -1/+3Pussy is overrated
- Baronvontito1, on 06/05/2009, -0/+2I wish I lived long enough to see the day we travel to distant worlds.
- boozedrinker, on 06/05/2009, -0/+2Cool - someone found my photos and dugg them!
- ertz, on 06/05/2009, -0/+1get one at the pet store... *rolls eyes*
- LeeDigg, on 06/05/2009, -2/+3ooh, shiny.
- EPeters, on 06/05/2009, -1/+2Can this website help me out and find themselves a font that's more painful to read? Because my eyes hurt right now, but they could be bleeding.
- Denominator88, on 06/05/2009, -0/+1Looks like Genesis from Star Trek II: Wrath of Khan
- inactive, on 06/05/2009, -6/+7I'd rather just look at some Aurora Snow.
- jasdf, on 06/05/2009, -0/+1And then you realize just how unrealistic that really is.
- pw378, on 06/05/2009, -0/+1Been there done that. Awesome.
Just move to Alaska for a few year, there is a lot of amazing stuff to see and experience in addition to the Aurora Borealis. - Danby123, on 06/06/2009, -0/+1I'm really curious as to what your agenda is, vroom.
- Markers, on 06/22/2009, -0/+1When I saw the green aurora, I immediately thought of Maximum Overdrive.
- nurbsenvi, on 06/05/2009, -0/+1Is there really no planet with unfrozen water other than ours?
- Rhydeble, on 06/11/2009, -0/+1I think that he's an agent from a secret international institution that wants to conquer the world using cool photography.
- GreenChaos, on 06/06/2009, -0/+1That's cool. I didn't know the Hubble Telescope has a macro mode.
- inactive, on 06/06/2009, -0/+1Jupiter's moon, Europa, may have salt water oceans under its ice surface.
- MAGZine, on 06/06/2009, -0/+1Come to Canada. There is tons here, and they are simple spectacular.
