- blobrana, on 11/18/2008, -0/+3No big deal, perhaps meanwesttexan is just stupid?
- Nodaki, on 11/19/2008, -0/+2Dugg for the misogynist title.
- ksheralt, on 11/18/2008, -1/+3Why is the title "stupid woman astronaut?" Why not just "stupid astronaut," or better yet "astronaut?" Do we really have to sensationalize every damn thing in order to catch others' attention?
- ksheralt, on 11/24/2008, -0/+1plus, i made the assumption that you are probably a woman-hater, so i had to fulfill my role as a crazy feminist who can't take a joke...
- ksheralt, on 11/24/2008, -0/+1hipsters are some of the most serious people out there. :)
- cquinnd, on 11/19/2008, -0/+1Because no other astronaut has ever lost a tool in orbit, right?
- saucy05, on 11/19/2008, -1/+1Let's just hope she won't be guiding the shuttle during the reentry, otherwise we might have the first human beings to land on Mars.
- betacmag4u, on 11/19/2008, -2/+2I hope they aren't letting her drive the shuttle too.
- JeffyW, on 11/19/2008, -2/+1Stefanyshyn-Piper and Bowen finished the spacewalk in almost seven hours by sharing tools from Bowen's bag. Ray noted that Stefanyshyn-Piper showed "real character and great discipline" by continuing on. She was the first woman to be assigned as lead spacewalker for a shuttle flight.
"Despite my little hiccup, or major hiccup, I think we did a good job out there," Stefanyshyn-Piper said after returning to the space station.
Did a good job???? Are you f'ing kidding me? LOL. That's like a surgeon cutting off the wrong leg, but commenting on how clean the cut was. DID A GOOD JOB?????????? OMG!!!!!!!!!! How about the let's make her feel good line of the year........Stefanyshyn-Piper showed "real character and great discipline" by continuing on. Real character??? You F'd up royal, there's no character or dicipline displayed here. What are they gonna do with her now? Wait a minute, does the shuttle have a kitchen? - kwoodyh, on 11/19/2008, -2/+1Why are we still funding this? We reached the high water mark on space in 1969, remember?
- trailboss49, on 11/19/2008, -2/+1Hey, what do you people expect for 'political correctness', competence? She's walking outside for PC sake, not because she knows what she is doing. Actions speak louder than words & her actions prove it.
- inactive, on 11/18/2008, -4/+3OK, OK. I should be careful. Next thing you know, this broad will be strapping on an adult diaper and coming after my ass.
- inactive, on 11/19/2008, -3/+1All that matters are "feelings."
- inactive, on 11/19/2008, -3/+1In seriousness, this fool created a rail-gun speed projectile of serious mass in a dangerous orbit that all future missions will have to dodge --- or die.
She lost her cool under pressure.
Not the "right stuff" so to speak. - inactive, on 11/18/2008, -4/+2I'm just trying to shake up the status quo a little bit.
For such a "hip" place, Diggers take themselves far too seriously. - inactive, on 11/18/2008, -4/+1Or perhaps you can't take a joke? Meh.

What is Digg?
