- TyrelVnne, on 11/02/2009, -0/+16Nice! Now all i need is someone to share it with. No takers? Vodka you're my only friend.
- INV3Ntv, on 11/02/2009, -0/+5I need some wishes granted!
- BREZZZ, on 11/02/2009, -0/+5Why are meteor showers always so early in the morning? I've thought about this, and have no real answer.
- majordanger, on 11/02/2009, -0/+4Because the dawn sky is the leading edge of the earth as we orbit the sun.
Analogy: More bugs hit the windshield then the side or rear windows of a car. - Perk, on 11/01/2009, -2/+6So this years Leonids will be meatier right?
- BananaGrabber, on 11/02/2009, -0/+3God, I hate living in LA. Can't see ***** it in the sky.
- DrummerAndrew, on 11/03/2009, -0/+3Your life. Your life is a lie.
- jwarkel09, on 11/02/2009, -0/+3I was really pumped up until I realized it will only be cool for Asia :(
- DrummerAndrew, on 11/03/2009, -0/+2No. That's a meteor destined to once again become a meteorite.
- ShutItDown, on 11/02/2009, -0/+1Last time there was a shower I took a girl and got laid on a blanket in the grass.
Last time there was a shower I took pictures all night for my blog.
Guess the lie. - Nightrain117, on 11/02/2009, -0/+1That's actually my birthday too, it would be a good way to spend the night with friends, on the off-chance that Seattle actually has a cloudless night.
- milkmage, on 11/02/2009, -0/+1it's pretty exact:
A far more modest, but still potentially enjoyable display of a few dozen Leonid meteors per hour is expected to favor North America. In the United States and Canada, eastern observers will be particularly well-positioned for maximum activity, expected sometime between 3:30 and 5:30 a.m. EST, when the radiant of the Leonid shower will be well up in the dark southeastern sky.
happy birthday - DrummerAndrew, on 11/03/2009, -0/+1Love the yearly celebration which falls on my birthday. This year is supposed to rival 2003.
- milkmage, on 11/02/2009, -0/+1it's just you
- DrummerAndrew, on 11/03/2009, -0/+1So you haven't noticed that it's right around your birthday every year? It's my birthday too, and I noticed when I was like 7 and it happened, and then when I was 8 and it happened.
- SeaICIubber, on 11/02/2009, -0/+1Beware the Triffids!
- cs188, on 11/02/2009, -3/+3If this were a golden shower, I would be agreeing with you.
- gkiltz, on 11/02/2009, -1/+1They essentially do occur all the time. In so much of the world, that is when the sky is dark enough for the best view.
- majordanger, on 11/02/2009, -2/+1Ahhhh a Meteor shower...
That's why there is a picture of a comet as the thumbnail. - Doomguy13, on 11/02/2009, -3/+2If it actually happens on the 17th, that would be awesome, as that's by birthday. But it's science. Does anything ever go as said in science? Or is that politics?
- scootinger, on 11/02/2009, -2/+1Is it just me or does the thumbnail really look like the default Leopard wallpaper?
- InfectedTuna, on 11/02/2009, -4/+1Oh man .... I'm getting horny!
