Sputnik III satellite sighted
jaxdailyrecord.com — (OLD NEWS) Jacksonville astronomers had their first close-up look at the rocket casing of Russia’s Sputnik III satellite. Ernest Rowland, president of the Jacksonville Astronomy Club, reported an “excellent” sighting of the rocket section.
