- Fozzus, on 01/05/2009, -0/+6i for one enjoy seeing images like these. but i hate the presentation of these sites.
- bpeacock22, on 01/05/2009, -0/+6Can I have a gap in the rings named after me? :)
- DaClub, on 01/05/2009, -0/+6Great pics, terrible web layout. It took me a couple minutes just to find out where to click!
- kalkin, on 01/05/2009, -0/+6what a ***** awful website layout. lost interest after the second pic... and i love astronomy
- jjmckay, on 01/05/2009, -0/+5The size of the image file is 16.45 KB so there is a lot of compression on it. This isn't up to Spinal Tap standards. A good quality image of that size should be about 100-200kb, so primary factor is if the dwarfs are still bigger than the model of Saturn that has been lowered onto the stage.
- gmiley, on 01/05/2009, -0/+4Fortunately, astronomers rename Uranus in 2620 to end that stupid joke...
- drgmdp, on 01/05/2009, -0/+4instant wallpaper

- Acqua206, on 01/05/2009, -0/+3You have got to be kidding me. I doubt anyone here is going to fall for this crap.

***** You.
Thanks. - inactive, on 01/05/2009, -0/+3Who in their right mind was conceited enough to names rings after themselves?
- Bloake, on 01/05/2009, -0/+2Looks unreal! It's hard to believe that the photo isn't enhanced in any way.
- jax0047, on 01/05/2009, -0/+2saturn kind of creeps me out
- gametavern, on 01/05/2009, -2/+4What would the rings look like if they didn't have to do a long exposure to photograph them?
- inactive, on 01/05/2009, -0/+2I'll make a few calls.
- pwdrskier, on 01/05/2009, -0/+2The surface of the planet and the rings look like porcelain. absolutely amazing shots!
- Linake, on 01/05/2009, -2/+3What's a Fing Ring?
- loobis, on 01/05/2009, -2/+3I like Ring Dings
- Farik, on 01/05/2009, -2/+3I see what you did there?
- inactive, on 01/05/2009, -1/+2I absolutely love Saturn. These are such dramatic photos
- DoraLives, on 01/06/2009, -0/+1That's what they look like. No long exposure required. Had you been able to hitch a ride on Cassini (not recommended, the weather's pretty lousy out that way and it's kinda lonesome too), the rings would look to your eyes the exact same way they look in these pictures.
- ralftom, on 01/06/2009, -0/+1Not so sure if this sis for real.Nice photo though.
- Newsdude, on 01/06/2009, -0/+1Totally Photoshopped, You can easily tell, in the picture they don't even have it tipped like its supposed to be. Take a close look at Sci-Fi Channels logo. ;)
- guamainiac, on 01/06/2009, -0/+0How can you tell it's photoshopped and how should it be tiped?
- Enthuzler, on 01/05/2009, -2/+2I must be tired, I read the title as, "Spectacular New Images Showcase Satan's Return".
- chipe65, on 01/05/2009, -3/+2One ring to rule them all.
- tviitajylha, on 01/05/2009, -7/+2Lol :)
- BullHunter, on 01/05/2009, -12/+6Phew! I'm so relieved it was images of rings around Saturn and not Uranus!
- rikhavoc, on 01/05/2009, -11/+2Three Rings for the Elven-kings under the sky,
Seven for the Dwarf-lords in their halls of stone,
Nine for Mortal Men doomed to die,
One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.
One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them,
One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie. - rufishinjr, on 01/05/2009, -13/+2Why are there so many damn posts about Saturn's fing rings?
