- akamakavely, on 03/29/2008, -2/+2If humans land on Mars by 2037... that's sad remember america's great ambition to land on the moon !? why do we need something as bad as a "race with another country better yet an enemy to have great ambitions if the space rush would have persisted for the good of science and mankind then we'd be on mars a long time ago ...hell we might even have restaurants on there by know....
- Retnuh730, on 03/29/2008, -0/+1What the hell are you saying?
- jrobh, on 03/31/2008, -0/+1I'll tell ya one thing- I'm not moving there till they have restaurants.
- sc0rpi0n, on 03/29/2008, -0/+2Building on Mars should use the materials such as sands and rocks that are easily found there. I guess the best are Pyramids. :D
- shaneagraves, on 03/29/2008, -0/+1"A Martian colony will need fast, temporary housing and will also need to be profoundly careful with the ecosystem on the planet. So the Burning Man credo of "leave no trace," meaning leave no trash or non-environmentally appropriate items, will become the credo of Mars too."
It's sad that more people don't have this same mentality about the wonderful planet we're already inhabiting. But nahhh, just be sure to keep that in mind when colonizing on Mars - the wonderful desert rock that it is... -_-;; - MarkDykeman, on 03/29/2008, -0/+1Better not use Boston as a model or they'll get lost in one way streets and never find anything. :)
