And would boost NASA funding for at least 3-5 years. Also other countries are sending probes to Mars now. Does NASA want to credit to go to some other country studying Mars? Wouldn't that be a huge embarrassment?
- inactive, on 04/05/2008, -0/+9I'm sorry but you can't just conclude that there's life because of one flawed test. The organic molecules test still needs to be done by a properly working probe.
...and for the last time the colors of Mars photos are not fudged. You can photoshop them to look like Earth all day long and it still won't make it true. - starmanjones, on 04/06/2008, -0/+5NASA has buried nothing. anyone paying attention has seen this hashed and rehashed. not much into the whole space thing huh?
- starmanjones, on 04/06/2008, -0/+3>Also, is NASA burying some of their data so no one can come
>up with the proper answer? It certainly seems so.
no. you didn't discover anything new or buried. - diggface5000, on 04/06/2008, -0/+2My favorite thing is the "hydrogen densities (probably water)" graph! The red areas are the ice caps- long known to be water... BUT FROZEN. FREAKIN COLD. And what did the retouched image prove? This is what mars would look like were the soil NOT mostly iron oxide? CONSPIRACY!
- RogerStrong, on 04/06/2008, -0/+2Discovering life on Mars would likely *increase* NASA's budget.
- RogerStrong, on 04/06/2008, -0/+1Exactly. This is all stuff that was made public at the time, has been widely available since, and gets discovered anew by magazine writers every couple years.
- LoreleileeLong, on 04/06/2008, -1/+2Shenanagins. NASA has no reason to hide life on Mars unless they want to lose even more money from their budget.
- dbates71, on 04/05/2008, -6/+5Scientific Evidence Of Life On Mars - I found this article to be a great read! While we still have quite a ways to go towards proving that there is life on Mars, this does help point out that it's not an impossibility. Also, is NASA burying some of their data so no one can come up with the proper answer? It certainly seems so.
- NGC2736, on 04/05/2008, -6/+4Another great article by someone that regularly comes up with things to make you go "Wow".
- narrolibertas, on 04/05/2008, -6/+3I think we should spend at least a couple trillion tax payer dollars to find out for sure.
- niteboy82, on 04/05/2008, -6/+2Most excellent work Mikesingh! Never get any less than an incredible well put together read from you!
- AydenV2, on 04/05/2008, -6/+2Incredible! Everyone should read this.
