  • TobiasParker, on 06/14/2009, -1/+7It depresses me that we probably won't even travel to another planet in my lifetime and most likely will never be able to travel to another star in any reasonable amount of time.

    P.S. I am 24 and plan on living for quite a while, but i have no faith in our ability to travel through space. The only reason we even went to the moon was to 1up the Soviets. A Mars mission will never get funding unless the Chinese decide to go there and we decide we want to beat them.
