- katerpilar, on 06/04/2008, -0/+12these are actually things we *can* afford in space exploration, i`d rather have the launch pad damaged than the space shuttle or rocket.
- PettyKrooks, on 06/04/2008, -0/+7in further news; a storm has been reportedly seen in a teacup
- Emmo213, on 06/04/2008, -0/+6NASA inspects those things all the time. Just because there was some damage doesn't mean they're falling apart. I'll put my trust in NASA, thanks.
NASA > first year structural engineer > compdude32 - scottro, on 06/04/2008, -4/+7Officials said it left the second worse destruction this weekend, after the Sex and the City Movie.
- Nothlit, on 06/04/2008, -0/+2Considering the first robots to land on Mars did so in the 1970s, you must have been pretty disappointed all this time...
- Chirp08, on 06/04/2008, -1/+3At least the workers repairing it will have a freshly bbq'd bird to eat
- marnaq, on 06/04/2008, -1/+3Jay Leno's monologue writer? Is that you?
- buywowgoldz, on 07/30/2008, -0/+0Go nasa.
http://illinoisrealestateresource.com/ - adml_shake, on 06/04/2008, -4/+3You know, I would think "lowest contract bidder" would have something to do with it.
- compdude32, on 06/04/2008, -3/+1Geez, an old concrete structure that was built in the 60's that undergoes massive heat and pressure on a normal basis, and the rocket scientists at NASA could see this coming? Any first year structural engineer could tell you those things needed to be rebuilt years ago.
- JohnnyXmas, on 06/04/2008, -4/+2Knowing NASA, it's some fat guy in a John Deere hat saying "Eh, I seen worse'n this on mah wheat thresher. She'll take 'nother two er three hits like this afore we gots ta worry 'bout 'er."
- yngtimmy, on 06/04/2008, -6/+2I drove across the state in my SUV to see Discovery go up. Take THAT Al Gore!
- compdude32, on 06/04/2008, -4/+0Did you look at the pictures of the damage, this isn't a little bit of damage we are talking about.
And I find it funny you chose to throw in an insult, that just means you know your wrong, if you weren't then there would be no need to insult people. - magawake, on 06/04/2008, -8/+1Not to play this down, but after sending a robut to mars a space shuttle going to outer space just seems ordinary....
