- Bactame, on 10/29/2008, -1/+7Thank You Michigan Tech, those Uppers really read my mind. Something even i can't do. Whoever said the UP is only for the deer season. Its the home of clear sky's and plentiful motels at pristine rates.

- moconnor6, on 10/29/2008, -1/+4It's amazing to me that this beautiful picture highlights something relatively close (if you can call 200 light years close) right next to something 10 MILLION light years away.
- ivencente, on 10/29/2008, -2/+5That's not a star, that's my bling
- MforMike, on 10/29/2008, -2/+3Just in time for Halloween
- hapax, on 10/29/2008, -2/+3Reminds me of that transition clip in Superfriends.
- RapidEye, on 10/29/2008, -1/+2This is a pretty easy to spot pairing in typical amature gear. I've made it out in my 4.5" F/8 Dob, once you know its there. The glare of the star really dominates the field and makes observing the galaxy tough whereas the galaxy would be pretty easy to observe if it were by itself. Excellent shot!
- ScottoGato, on 10/29/2008, -1/+2Merlin's Beard!
- Mujokan, on 10/29/2008, -0/+1Lol, who came by and dugg down every comment?
- MrVoodooArmy, on 01/24/2009, -0/+0Cool Star!
http://www.shopoflittlehorrors.com - jsmunroe, on 10/31/2008, -0/+0So your bling is several stellar masses and seven million degrees?
- Mujokan, on 10/29/2008, -2/+2Whenever I see these photos, I want to go visit all these places. :(
- jsmunroe, on 10/31/2008, -0/+0Yeah, well, that's only 1,175,725,074,636,722 miles. ;)
