- whatthefu, on 10/10/2007, -0/+15I never knew the Milky Way was such a coldhearted beast.
- SmackMyMac, on 10/10/2007, -3/+16Best way to a man's heart: Through his stomach.
Best way to the milky way's heart: Black hole
Knowing that there's something out there that sucks more than you: Priceless - awhiteflame, on 10/10/2007, -2/+11Well, we're all going to die on December 21, 2012 anyway, so I don't really care.
- rejoined, on 10/10/2007, -0/+8Q: Pitiful Humans. I'd have thought by now you have already discovered the AGN (Active Galaxy Nucleus) in the middle of your Milky Way Galaxy.
Well Jean-Luc, it's wonderful to see you again. How about a big hug? - inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5If the answer is inconclusive, why use a question in the subject? :P If the test is simple, why hasn't it been done? See.. I could ask questions that boggle the mind, too! No, but in all seriousness I love the topic and read the article.. good stuff.
- Lyanto, on 10/10/2007, -3/+8No, they would just form Voltron.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4That she sucks really well but rejected you at a high rate of speed?
- Phatrician, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5BWAAAA HAAAA HAAAA HAAAAH AHAHAHAHAHAAAA
Thanks for the laugh. - jytsai, on 10/10/2007, -4/+7Here's a question for the astrophysicists: So if there _are_ two black holes in the center of the galaxy, and they happen to merge, would the ensuing radiation pretty much cause a Halo style sterilization of the galaxy?
- voxel, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Wrong zybch, because the information regarding the king/queen dying can only travel at light speed. So until the signal reaches you, you have no idea that they have died.
- nickdngr, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3total digg for lovecraft
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3WTF are you talking about?
- rnnbob, on 10/10/2007, -2/+4best way to a mans heart is through his chest.
- kmpr326, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Dugg for confusing the hell out of me.
- tehpwnrate, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Well, this makes me think yes.
http://news.com.com/2100-11397_3-6062605.html
But this, which is based on real life stuff, makes me think no...

(Please, Digg Gods, don't make my paragraphs condense so that I am left with one big run-on sentence) - giveer, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3I think this article is one huge analogy based on my ex-girlfriend.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3But the problem is that as soon as we detect these events, that radiation will have already reached us (probably a long time ago).
The ONLY thing faster than the speed of light is Monarchy! The instant the current king/queen dies the title is bestowed to the successor, so even if they are thousands of light years apart, the transfer is done in an instant. - inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2The gods have looked favorably on your comment. You are spared.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I like how they may have already found the binary stars, but will have to go back and take another look to discover if that's true. Discovery rocks.
- tehpwnrate, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2It's a joke and a meme.
- alexanderhazard, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2Gotta love gravitational bend!
- EvilZoo42, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I'm not sure about the Milky Way, but there's at least two black holes in my heart.
- Osjpr, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1We're screwed. And people think money should be spent on war rather than space exploration, moon resorts and space colonies -_-
- Masefield, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Come on: the plans for this second black hole had been available for public viewing for months down at Alpha Centuri. It's only a mere 4 light years away…
- Osjpr, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Wrong. it's not a meme.
- cgruber, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2Best answer ever
- sunnyboy06, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I understood that astronomers thought there are atleast four black holes at the centre of our galaxy.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Its the Mayan calendar or something isn't it? The one that counts backwards and mysteriously ends in 2012.
- MrFisty, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1"We've got an APB out on a pair of stars. Last seen fleeing the centre of the galaxy at break-neck speed."
- KhanneaSuntzu, on 10/10/2007, -6/+6To the tune of ``Jingle Bells'':
Azathoth
Azathoth
Azathoth, the King
Center of the Universe,
Insanity he brings, Hey!
Azathoth
Azathoth
Azathoth, the King
Center of the Universe
Insanity he brings
Writhing round the place
Insane pipers pipe
Takes up lots of space
The stars are getting ripe
R'Lyeh soon may rise
Nyarlathotep plots
Earth will be the prize
We'll all lose our spots, Ohhh
Azathoth
Azathoth
Azathoth, the King
Center of the Universe
IN - SANITY HEEEE BRIIIIIIIINGS!!!!!!!!! - chicken59, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1wtf are you talking about?
- stigma15, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1Before you doomsayers start stocking up on the canned goods, know that even if the alleged second black hole "merged" with the Sagittarius A black hole at the galactic center, it would take thousands of years for any effects to be felt here on Earth.
We'll all be old and gray by then. - rejoined, on 10/10/2007, -2/+1The only thing which can probably cause that would be a huge supernova. A star with more than 20 solar masses (I'd think it would have to be more massive than that for its radioactive death rays to spread wide enough throughout the galaxy), at the end of its life, going supernova, and nearby enough (like between 4 and 6 light years)...would emit enough radioactive particles, which can possibly incinerate the earth's atmosphere..and killing all living beings in its wake.
- Snowbo, on 10/10/2007, -1/+0When matter and antimatter meet...
- arnoldrimmer, on 10/10/2007, -3/+1Even Radiation cannot travel faster than Light, sowe would be Long Dead.........
- cgruber, on 10/10/2007, -4/+1Best answer ever
- Phatrician, on 10/10/2007, -6/+0It's ok because we're all going to die on December 21, 2012 anyway, so I don't really care.
Did I do this right? Yup, still faggoty. - Phatrician, on 10/10/2007, -9/+2You are an idiot. I don't mean that as a personal attack either.

What is Digg?
