- mecharabbit, on 07/01/2009, -0/+10Well, I would assume that Enceladus has an ecosystem similar to that of Hoth. In which case, future astronaut explorers had better watch out for wampas.
- novenator, on 06/30/2009, -1/+8I attended a fascinating Cassini-Huygens lecture a while back where they discussed the possibility of this. Intriguing stuff with implications for potential extremophile alien lifeforms and the rings of Saturn.
- doublefelix, on 06/30/2009, -0/+5That's an awesome photo of Enceladus. Looks better than most I've seen of our own moon.

Get this man an escort or something. - smitas, on 06/30/2009, -0/+4Life forms in Saturn?
- inactive, on 07/01/2009, -0/+4fascinating
- novenator, on 06/30/2009, -1/+4Well, this is highly speculative of course, but as the mission specialist stated, wherever there is liquid water on Earth, there is life. With liquid water on Enceladus, there is a possibility (albeit a very slim one) that some type of basic life forms may exist. Other good candidates in the solar system would include Titan, Mars, and Europa.

- novenator, on 07/02/2009, -0/+1Sweet!
- inactive, on 07/01/2009, -1/+2The name puts me off, they should rename it Chilly, or Frigid, or Furry and then I'll go
- TheSubAtomic, on 07/01/2009, -1/+0It's clearly photoshopped.
