  • Veriander, on 11/05/2008, -0/+1Yeah the Hubble's great but we should be building the next gen space observatory -- how about the plan for an interferometer system of linked telescopes that could directly resolve earth-size planets? Also don't forget that with the demise of the Shuttle we'll no longer have the capacity to do this type of on-orbit upgrade/repair. Although I like the Orion vehicle, I would love to see us build an utility vehicle for missions like this. Built in orbit, staying in orbit, docked to the space station when not in use.
