Flowers to be Planted on the Moon
english.pravda.ru — Scientists of Ukrainian Academy of Sciences Natalya Kozirovska and Irina Zayec proved it possible to plant herbs on the Moon. During the experiment they managed to plant marigold on the soil, identical to the Moon regolite.

- sc0rpi0n, on 05/05/2008, -0/+1Ok sounds interesting but during the day which lasts around 15 earth days, the Moon's surface is much hotter than the boiling point of water. And during the night on the moon which also lasts around 15 earth days, the surface temperature drops below freezing point.
I'm not saying it's impossible... just pointing out some basic facts.
