- WriterSD, on 06/17/2008, -0/+12It's about time we get stylish spacesuits! I'll be happy with some like the ones they have on Battlestar Galactica.

- jimic79, on 06/18/2008, -0/+8C'mon, there's the perfect design already. Samus Aran from Metroid. They're definitely going to need an arm cannon...

- listrophy, on 06/18/2008, -0/+5Guess what happens to this if Obama gets elected? According to his campaign (visit his education section, view the K-12 Education Plan PDF and read the very last paragraph), it would get "delayed" 5 years.
In real terms, it will be canceled. After 5 years, the engineers who got this contract will be doing work for JAXA and ESA. - hexydes, on 06/18/2008, -0/+4Dear next US President:
NASA is now back on track. Please stay out of the way, and if you want to do anything to the program, just give it more money. This is seriously the closest NASA has had to a good short and long-term vision since 1961. Let it be. - MalsAU, on 06/18/2008, -0/+4Sexy. Coming soon: Louis Vuitton monogrammed suits and Chanel boots takeover space!

- Lunarbunny, on 06/18/2008, -0/+3Apparently you haven't heard of Ares. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ares_(rocket)
- inactive, on 06/18/2008, -0/+2Fuel requirements, they have not changed since 1969.
- Azohko, on 06/18/2008, -3/+5Why does NASA make everything to go to the moon (Gloves, Suits, etc. ) but they don't seem to have a ship to get there? Prioritize much?
- SoundJudgment, on 06/18/2008, -0/+2Reminds me of the designs used in the movie, 2001. What was that like back in... '68? Time for NASA to catch up!
- MattFromSeattle, on 06/18/2008, -0/+2The slide show of the suits through the years was even better.
- themastersb, on 06/18/2008, -0/+2"About time" Took the words right out of my mouth. Except for the "damn" I put in the middle.
- Realnemesis, on 06/18/2008, -0/+1Looks like a Ninja with a space helmet on...
- itspuddingtime, on 06/18/2008, -0/+1ok, you go out into space wearing one of the 2001 suits. We'll see how long you survive.

http://digg.com/space/NASA_Animation_of_the_Conste ... - DanielEric, on 06/20/2008, -0/+0I really think that mankind should be focusing on matters closer to home. IMO space exploration is a near complete waste of time and money.
- nem0, on 06/18/2008, -0/+0The suit on the left looks like Major Matt Mason! I hope they go with shiny silver fabric.
- altinnovation, on 06/18/2008, -1/+1I heard somewhere that McCain's policy on space exploration is just as bad, if not worse. Obama seems to be concentrating on the homeland issues, and McCain on war. :( If they spend at least three times as much on space exploration (which isn't a lot), then that would kick ass :D!
- ASSASSYN360, on 06/18/2008, -1/+1What a coincidence NASA boasts of going to mars or the moon every election. Then after the election more of the same boring space shuttle launches. I their will be a renewed interests in space this election.
- crazyjake, on 06/18/2008, -2/+1i think space exploration interest will drop dramatically if they go with that ugly ass blue thing!!
this is more like it!!
