Now NASA is going to have a 5 year gap of nothing to take us into space? I'm just pissed I won't get to see much of anything in my lifetime when I assumed I most likely could.

They then turn around and demonize it again when it doesn't provide the solutions to their woes that they think it should provide (and that they think they are entitled to). They make sure that their congresscritters know that they don't want a single cent spent on wasteful, useless things like science or education.
