- kelvinlls, on 03/17/2009, -0/+6Hmmm.. Better than living in Mars I suppose..
- dromni, on 03/18/2009, -0/+5This is quite old news, really. Now the search for other Earths has moved to a new level with the launch of the Kepler mission, which is designed to find Earth-like planets systematically. If we are lucky, maybe we will have hundreds of other Earths to add to the list on the coming years.
Now, if only we had that warpdrive thing... - inactive, on 03/17/2009, -0/+4This is exciting, too bad we won't be around to see it.
- oxdeltaxo, on 03/19/2009, -0/+1Too bad the gravity would make your bones brittle.
- inactive, on 03/18/2009, -0/+1Assuming that a planet must be earthlike to harbor life = bad assumption
That said, there's nothing wrong with searching for earthlike planets. - pumanegra2012, on 03/18/2009, -0/+1Has anyone followed up on this?
- samsmartjr, on 03/18/2009, -1/+1Let's hope we can conserve the resources we have here on Earth to get the "super Earth" one day. It would be a shame if we ran out of materials before we could make that journey through space.
