- mark322, on 11/04/2009, -0/+1With the dose they got, they should have had hair loss, severe diarrhea and bleeding, all symptoms of radiation poisoning. But that would be a pretty revolting set of superheroes.
- Junior612, on 11/04/2009, -0/+1Now all we need is a telescope named Aequitas.
- ssquared22, on 11/03/2009, -1/+2There's a "cigar galaxy"? Awesome!
- bluebirdgm, on 11/04/2009, -1/+2So how is it that they turn one guy stretchy, make another guy burst into flame, give a third guy rocky skin, and make a girl turn invisible?
- SirBruce, on 11/04/2009, -2/+2("Cosmic ray" is a historical misnomer, since they are individual particles, not a ray or beam.)
God, talk about science reporting FAIL. ALL INDIVIDUAL PARTICLES ARE ALSO RAYS OR BEAMS! It's called Wave-Particle Duality; look it up next time you write an article on physics. - inactive, on 11/04/2009, -2/+1What happens when they hit our atmosphere?
- e2superman, on 11/04/2009, -3/+1I did not know particle accelerators generated ANY energy.... I thought they simply drove to particles in opposite orbits in a magnetic ring and then collided them to investigate sub atomic structures and interactions. I guess CRT's are technically particle accelerators but if this energy was bad then we are all in trouble from years of being blasted by these damn devices!
